i cant help but be taken out of my safe frame of mind when i watch this, the second episode make really question why im not relegious and the pros and cons, but i love questioning why anything, and making my brain look for alternatives, and sub alternatives, i love thinking about how i think, and then how i thought about how i thought about something, if that doesnt make sense, then i am much smarter than even i realize.
were in the stage of the creation of the web, it may seem an addictive worrying turn at first but once all forms of internet is complete by the 23rd century it will merge with real life and people will live a mixed life but the computer and internet will come with you hence people will spend less time indoors and spend more time outside, some people may be out at 2am, but with a virtual augmented reality it will appear a sunny summers day, open your mind its possible :) :)
@deanmullen10 you might have a minority opinion but man, i cannot agree more with you!! i suspect if we had this filming technology back in 19th century we would have made a same kind of series documentary demogoggering about the dangers that the industry might bring out in the future, which seemed dread with the deeds of rokefeller and vandervilts and what have you, which turned out pretty great later on. they became prosperous. i think zuckerberg and page would do much the same
Like any technology the internet is a useful thing but depending too much on it, this is something that is not a solution to all problems. The internet should be used actually more than it is but never have it be the only scource.
I just watched episode one and, despite my googling and trying to remember, I can't for the life of me remember the name of the song/band at about 4mins in, when Alecks is talking about steam and the printing press (infact it's the bit where it says "The Great Leveling". I know I know that song, and have it somewhere. It's driving me nuts.
Any chance you could help put me out of my misery.

AHH! Legend. I just googled the actual song and realised there's a moby remix, and it's the moby version I've heard (and got). Thank you very kindly.
