Neat machine, never avail. in the states, unfortunately, as many great strokers weren't. But that doesn't mean they 2 stroke doesn't have it's huge fan base here, some of us will not ride or race anything but an almighty stroker. My current collection is a really nice 750 that dynoed at 122 horse and a stock RZ 350 with chambers, plus alot of motocrossers and a project I'm building with a SkiDoo MXZ 670 twin. The brakes were amazing, I'd become used to their stopping power and, when I later rode other bikes, I almost got into serous trouble a few times until I adjusted to braking earlier than on the RD. I miss that bike.

That was my first motorcycle. Awesome bike. Niagara Falls to Hamilton in 20 minutes.  Hamilton to Toronto in 20 minutes. I am so lucky to be alive today.

You are correct sir...esp 2 cylinder 2 strokes like this . I used to have a RZ 350, looled like this 500(wanted a 500 but EPA laws would not let them import 500's into the US. I would crank my 350 with my hand just to show how easy it would start. I put racing airbox and exhaust and made it very quick, could go 1st to 6th on back wheel, out ran many 750's of the day(early, mid 1980's) on curvy roads. Had several bigger bikes, 650 with turbo, 750's, 1200, but none any more fun than the RZ!!!
