2 Anneliese householded the priest of that little village in Hunsrück. She wanted children and in that few days I was with her, she took me for one.
Lateron her grandchild Katrin appeared far away from that village in Frankfurt am Main just in that class, where my youngest daughter began her schoollife. Strange. That we got the knowledge! That we found out! I never had seen Anneliese since these early years! I knew nothing about her life.

1 I had to lay on the couch in the kitchen after dinner, I was not used a midday sleep. I was used my sisters and brothers, and this ticking clock remembered me deeply, how far I was. The clock was ticking like that in your film. Anneliese was washing dishes and cleaning the floor. I couldn't sleep. Why was I brought there, where we once lived in that first years after worldwar 2nd?
