that is a different set up. this boat in this video is in the 2nd notch. made for control and bottom end torque, not for top end. some of my other videos have me in the 3rd notch. Passed the 3rn notch is where a 40" bottom stripboat comes in to play. My next setup will be a 40" by 12' stripboat with a 11" by 22 pitch cleaver prop. With 70 hp to turn it. With this setup i'll get 70 mph+....a tunnel boat is even faster........
Sounds like it could stand to turn a litte faster...and trim up a bit.....but still...thats a lotta jam to have on a tiller control....!!

Sounds like you're using a prop with too less pitch... Trim it up a little and use a better prop --> then you will fly ;)
