E' stato un pò il mio maestro fin dal 1957, unico nel suo timpro (The Sound) con un vibbrato personalissimo, fraseggi costruiti con armonica precisone, ineguagliabile. Per me il più "Elegante" nel sax tenore!!!!!

I was jazz buyer at tower records in glasgow when this album was released just befor he died. Great album. Cant get it now. His last hurrah.

It was recorded at his favourite venue........Cafe Monmartre, Copenhagen, 1991.

The final track is Soul Eyes, and 2/3rds through this track, he bowed out with his last ever recorded note. Kenny Barron takes over for a superb outro.
