Since there appears to be a lot of oblivious idiots who keep stating incorrect facts about this game:

-This will cost money, it is currently in alpha but will be released as a full game on platforms such as steam.

-The engine being used is the UE3 engine

-This game is more like a medieval battlefield then Mount and Blade:Warband. Don't confuse 2 different styles. If you want to see a shitty warband ripoff go look at War of the Roses.

I really hope this pulls through. LOVED the mod!

So M&B 2 is coming out not sure when, will this game have a similar approach to the warband campaign? will this game have a better online than AoC or warband online? i mean more indepth (as in unlocking/upgrading weapons/armour, skills, etc)?

@ShaggaSonOfDolf plans are to have taunts, laughter, and vo lines for 'respect'. Plans are also to have each class of each faction to have its own voice and set of lines.

@xJimisGRx Actually there is a half life 2 mod called Pirates, Vikings and Knights II. It is pretty much like Age of Chivalry.

@bmac51111 I agree. AoC was awesome but the hit detection, even though it was pretty much my only complaint, was so awful it ruined the game for me. I haven't played it since they added that Toe-to-Toe thing so I don't know much about it, but I doubt it fixed the problem. The sad part is I liked the polearms best, which are supposed to have the best range, but... while on my screen it seems like it'd go almost through an enemy but "miss," a short sword could totally whiff and kill me.

The action sequences in this trailer were a bit underwhelming. Could quite see how well the swing animations were working...the locations look amazing though! You guys should do a limited beta, I would love to play it and help test it!
