hey im having problems. MY Sony Cam does not let me transfer video from my usb connection but i bought a USB firewire converter. It doesn't seem to fit in the firewire post on my cam i got it from Hong Kong could it be different??

Pros: Easy to use.

Cons: it doesn't work well with chroma key (green/blue screen). The green/blue screen spills no matter how good your lightning is.

I filmed our speaker on a blue screen and it doesn't give a good result. The hair as well as the edge spills.

@rjfiles2000 Have you tried white-balancing? I've had the same problem on my JVC-GRD370U. I shot myself in front of a green screen before and the green looked olive before I white balanced.

Pros: Sturdy, manual override.

Cons: No external mic inputs, low battery life

I mean, I guess it's nice he's trying to describe the camera features, but it's such a hard sell. You can't trust anything he says! It's so obvious that he wants you to buy it, and doesn't care if it's what you need or if the camera has any negative aspects. I wouldn't trust it AT ALL. What I want is an unbiased review, not "QVC-hard-sell" junk commentary.

$179 @ wal-mart. no night vision. no web cam. all in all a good camera. there is another camera @ wally world you can buy for like $80 and it can be used as a web cam.

For a nice family camera you use on occasion, it's a great deal. For any other intensive purposes, this camera sucks. I wish I hadn't bought it. The manual mode is a joke unless you have 5 minutes to set up each shot.
