[HowTo] Install GNOME DO and change the Docky orientation on Ubuntu Linux

Salam, can you change the gnome, theme I guess?, to KDE?

@ghostfanic launch ubuntu software center from the main menu and search for gnome-do.

For Docky Theme to work, you need to have either compiz running (3D effects) or have metacity compositing enabled.

How do you get the extended right-click menu for Docky? I only have a minimal set of items. For example, when I right-click on the Do item, I only get About Do, Preferences, Donate, and Quit.

I believe you have to have "Extra effects" enabled to get the extended menu. Go to System-Preferences-Appearance-­Visual Effects and turn on Extra effects and you should see the dock. Good luck.
