The only Tales of game I have played so far is ToS 2 and I rly liked that so today I am going to get Tales of Vesperia woot and hopefully TotA when it is released for the 3ds

@ADecadentAddiction lemme tell you, if u thought ToS 2 was rly good, ull absolutely LOVE ToS 1, Vesperia, etc. cuz many people, including me, think it isn't as good as its predecessors. enjoy playing through some of the best games ever made!

@PenguinofDestruction I know, I love them... I've not played them all, but Symphonia has to be my favorite of those I have, I think. Followed by Abyss, then Vesperia and Phantasia. I played Legendia, still a good game, but my least favorite of 'em. I really wish they all got releases officially in America :( They definitely deserve the popularity that the Final Fantasy series has amassed, sadly don't get it though...

@FERALIGATRMAN777 That's pretty much the whole pillar of the fight. Luke is the replica, yet he's the one who came to accept his existance as his own, unlike Asch, who never got over Luke taking all he ever had. At the point of the battle, Luke is a full-fledged, independent individual, whereas Asch is still unable to accept himself for who he is, insisting in battling Luke. Asch fights to prove he's the real one; Luke fights to prove he's HIMSELF. Luke wins, showing he's succeeded.

@Endelece Yet Asch and Luke kind of transform into a mixture of both, per say, an entirely new and final copy of the God General and Duke's Child. The real version, I called it when I played.

And IMO, Asch has dat lung capacity;

@Endelece True. Just my opinion. But what bugs me is how Asch immediately helped out Luke after Luke won. That just went a little to quick, like;

"I'm going to kill you, REPLICA!"

Afterwards

"I'll hold em off because I lost, go on dude!"

The peak of Luke's first goal, Be recognized as a Human, It then turned into the immediate second goal, Release Lorelei from within Van. I couldn't put the ending better, but the Climax of Luke's goal to be recognized as not a replica just sped by too fast.

@FERALIGATRMAN777 Despites anything he can say or do, Asch knows the priority at the moment is to stop Van. Since Luke bested him, he just let him go, thinking Luke would do better than him (not to mention Asch [wrongfully] thought he was on the verge of disappearing due to contamination effect).

As for Luke's goal, he manages to prove himself to the two people he "cared" about the most: Asch and later Van, even before he fought the latter. The ending's perfect for me.

@Endelece Well, One thing for sure,Asch was a self confident little sucker before he just got demolished by Luke too many-a play-through. I gotta say, he didn't care about Tear at ALL? Now they're just throwing themselves at eachother (In the ending). It felt nice for Luke to be rewarded in so many different ways. He didn't die, and now has someone he loves . And although it is true, Asch was bested in the way of sword. And he might have actually joined Van, when he prompted Luke to. So yeah.

@FERALIGATRMAN777 I think what Endelece meant in reference to "the two people he cared about" was that Luke's goal was about proving himself to the two people he cared about proving himself to. He didn't need to prove anything to Tear, but that's not to say that Luke and Tear weren't in love with each other and that they didn't care for one another until the end.

This song sounds too happy/go-getty to be a Luke/Asche battle theme. Meaning of Birth makes me think of like children playing around. I dunno why. >_>

Imo, the Lloyd/Kratos duel battle theme has a more serious battle tone to it, if you know what I mean.
