There is also a large amount of captive bread snakes that refuse to eat pre killed prey, I know this because I own 2 ball pythons that refuse prekilled food. please check out my other video of this snake crawling up the stairs. it'll give a little better look at this length with the stair steps as a good size reference. In these videos he was about 10.5ft and just over 30lbs. These 3 rabbits were about 4lbs each. Normally he takes one 8-10lbs rabbit per sitting, feeding about every 2 months, sometimes longer durring winter.

Everything else before and after was prekilled/stunned. Rabbits from a breeder are WAAAY more affordable than rats from a pet store. The box is used for behavioral conditioning. This way the snake knows when it's food time instead of wondering every time the cage opens if your hand is food.

@skullcash11 we ended up finding a new home for him (butters) last year as we had a little girl. once our daughter is bigger and we are more financially stable we'd love to get him back. possibly in a few years. i got him and nice big cage for $100 back in 2008 after I got my permit and tag. he used to eat a 7-10lbs rabbit once every other month, and he had a MASSSIVE wood enclosure snake resort that took up a 1/3rd of our garage. he was and still is living great.

There is also a large amount of captive bread snakes that refuse to eat pre killed prey, I know this because I own 2 ball pythons that refuse prekilled food. Beside the way the snake kills it prey is much more humane then the way we kill animals for our daily consumption.

please check out my other video of this snake crawling up the stairs. it'll give a little better look at this length with the stair steps as a good size reference. In these videos he was about 10.5ft and just over 30lbs. These 3 rabbits were about 4lbs each. Normally he takes one 8-10lbs rabbit per sitting, feeding about every 2 months, sometimes longer durring winter.
I'm sure you also have an impressived size burm, but being a dick about it makes no sense to me.

Everything else before and after was prekilled/stunned. Rabbits from a breeder are WAAAY more affordable than rats from a pet store. The box is used for behavioral conditioning. This way the snake knows when it's food time instead of wondering every time the cage opens if your hand is food.

@skullcash11 we ended up finding a new home for him (butters) last year as we had a little girl. once our daughter is bigger and we are more financially stable we'd love to get him back. possibly in a few years. i got him and nice big cage for $100 back in 2008 after I got my permit and tag. he used to eat a 7-10lbs rabbit once every other month, and he had a MASSSIVE wood enclosure snake resort that took up a 1/3rd of our garage. he was and still is living great.
