Actually I prefer such great prerendered animations to some obsolete 3d engine...

actually it IS prerendered.. with a 360 degree view, like Exile

no, V - The end of ages is in a real-time 3d engine. It is not prerendered like the previous parts.

How many discs come with this game?  I remember Riven having 5 - I love the MYST series, but good god, all those discs! Also, why the hell is this story not a movie yet???

Two discs... DVDs, that is, as opposed to Riven's CDs. :)

Try to get one of the myst collections (Myst Complete or Myst Trilogy) Riven on a DVD is so much more fun then the 5-CD-Version.

and Revelation has 2 DVDs (full Installation uses 7 GB on your Harddisk)

It's sad that Myst V isn't as good as this. The graphics just aren't as unique. I'm still enjoying it though because the ages are beautiful, though they're short.

1. Awesome plot - you have to find kidnapped girl, travel through fantastic worlds

2. Very good and difficult riddles. (you don't have to find, collect dozens of items and connect them)

3. Graphics

4.Beautifull music

I have one question: can I move the caracther with WASD keys? Or you can do this only in the fifth instalment?

I think there's sumthin wrong with my comp cus when I was playing the game, I got into the other ages and I had really crap graphics. That's the only prob with the myst games, they always need updated graphics which is prob why my URU game didn't work either argh dammit lol!

I just got the game today and I'm already passed this part... So far it was pretty easy... but as soon as I entered the prison ages it got complicated... especially Haven, it's impossible to find my way in there
