  • His soloing was never really technical, but his tone and emotion in his soloing always chokes me up...amazing song.

  • Excellent! Hadn't realised that was how Steve got the tick tock sound! And check out the Mellotron close up at 1:20! Great sound!

  • anyone listening to steve hackett on drugs is going to have their mind blown

  • at 2:15 he really seems to be enjoying himself!!!!!! I would pay anything to see Tony Banks do some of Steve's moves behind the keyboards!!

  • this is totally carmina burana at 45 lol

  • i was so zOONNED out by the drum solo

    LOVED IT :D

  • Frightening sounds. Makes me want to watch Scanners.

  • got to be one of the best, absolute classic, nothing else like it! Turn it up loud, close your eyes and ...ride that sound wave!

  • The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is a epic album.

The only Genesis album that comes close is Selling Englund

  • interesting spelling there, sparky. or is this some obscure "nightmare on elm street" reference? "digesting freddy krueger(rand) by the pound?" i give up...

  • almost at good as pink floyd's "time"

  • GREAT!

  • Yet another song from the late 70's that is meant to be played at least twice the maximum volume of whatever you're hearing it on. The whole Spectral Mornings album is golden.

    Thank you for the vid!

  • Love Hackett! Love this song!

Man!! look at that drum set!!! Geeez...bigger than Neil Pearts it seems.

  • John Shearer...only played on 2 Hackett albums but was his touring drummer for about 6 years. owns a drum shop in London England now. And he hit every piece in that set.

  • @s0undch4s3r no way. not possible

  • @Xanaseb lol. Peart ownz.

  • Gabriel and Hackett did not want to go "commercial". The rest of Genesis did. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway was the style Steve and Peter preferred and it showed in thier solo stuff.

  • shou;ld've stayed in genesis

  • I agree. Then Genesis would have been a great band after 1977 as well.

  • Great song....The drummer (john shearer) had a huge set...

  • Vraiment cool...j'aime surtout comment il joue les pedals de bass avec ses poings...lol
