The "Isa" of the Quran was not crucified, was not buried and did not rise from the dead. Neither was he the son of God. That's what Muhammed said. He was a liar. Clearly, the Quran's "Isa" is not Jesus. The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus is the heart of the kerygma, apostolic preaching. You pastors who want to get in bed with the Muslims better be careful of what demonic lying spirits you permit in your churches.

That was a very ecumenical prayer.

He started with "our" Father. God is the Father for only those who have putted their faith in Jesus Christ as a Lord and Savior, not for everybody there.

He never said Jesus- "Christ" or Messiah which means the anointed one, to not offend Muslims or Jews.

Regarding the inauguration prayerm you are wrong. He prayed to Almighty God, our Father. Muslims do not call God "father." You missed Psalm 86:15 - "But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion and . . . abundant in mercy . . ."

Also, Isa is the word for God in Arabic, and not just a Muslim term. It is used by all the Christians in the Middle East. Did you not know that?? I guess not.

Warren seems to suggest here that the Biblical Jesus and the Koranic Jesus are the same person. That's not surprising. Rick has been confusing Christianity with the New Age for quite some time now. When will everyone finally wake up?

I could give him the benefit of the doubt and suppose that he thought "Isa" was just Arab and not necessarily Islamic. But it's not the first time he's said something that could be interpreted in multiple ways. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...
