Ford sux perioud. Theyve always copied GM designs. Back in the 80's it was GM who came out with T-tops and then ford made there own design. Then Tune Port Injection, ford came out with there own system but they have always had to copy General Motors. ok heres the deal, gm is getting the zeta platform from holden, there are two versions, long wheelbase, shortwheel base. the long wheelbase will be used for the pontiac g8, which is comming out a year before the camaro will just because the platform has been proven, the camaro has been softend up in the styling area and is not as "spaceship" looking. expect z28 models to have the ls2 6.0 v8, and a new lsx. up to 7.5 liters on the ss. just to clear up some minor details.

1991 they switched to the LT1 reverse cooling block at this point most car guys consider that to not even be a "350".

1997 LS1 was introduced and it is a 100% different block than the "350" it no longer even has 350 cubic inches.. which is what makes a 350 a 350.

Hell, not even their cheapest trucks today have 350's they are a totally different block from the LS1 family.
