  • Jim, that's great. How long, how long...

You got the blues in your soul.

I was born in Italy, living in Buenos Aires but my ears and all the music I feel inside me is from there. All those blues, all that incredible music, all that incredible people like Robert J.

I am 56 and play guitar since 8 and I can tell you Jim, you play the blues like the best. Like the best that I've ever heard.

Keeps on singing and playing all this extraordinary music.

    Sincerely,

    Ricardo

  • Hey Jim, that's great. On Every Day in the Week, can you do me a favor and post the chords/tab/any hints on what yo're doing after the D/Am in the 3rd and 4th bar? You're the best version I've heard since Tom Rush and I would love to solve the mystery!!! Thanks man.

  • hell yeah man, thats the sick shit

  • I love your stuff. You play it so smoothly, so easily, and as naturally as breathing. You know these songs inside and out. In an earlier video you'd stated (maybe it was in your profile) that you'd quit playing for awhile (years), but YouTube allowed you to resurrect your playing to a new audience. We're thankful for that. This is excellent stuff and I enjoy the heck out of it.

  • Yeah I'm feelin it man . . . and the hat adds flavor!

  • great stuff man full of feeling

  • That was awesome

  • Jim, This is a Masterpiece !!!

    Thanks !

    5* up !

    Peace Brother !

  • I recently discovered your stuff. Really enjoy you and Ken playing. Inspires me to really keep at it myself.

Is that possibly an old Larson you're playing in the first clip? If so, you're a lucky man!

It sounds great. Please keep this good stuff coming.

    Regards, Will

  • No, it's an old Aria(Johhny Joyce model), modified by luthier Barry Denier, an old bluesmen I used to gig with in the 80s. Thanks for the comments.

    Jim

  • You play with lots of "salt'n'pepper".

I really dig your percussive instincts!

  • Like all your stuff, technically great and in the spirit. Never sounds slick or contrived.

  • Man you certainly can play that thing, you didn't sell your soul to the devil or something did you :-)

  • wie immer klasse!

  • Great version

    *****

  • Thanks, Jacques - most of the riffs are from you. I'd never even heard it 'til I saw your vid - great stuff.

    Jim
