  • sounded similar, but the real chime sounds like more singing like opera . im looking for edition.

  • Does anyone know if the old jingle (pre-2005) is available on YouTube or as a ringtone? There use to be an elaborate jingle followed by "Mesdames et Messieurs..."

  • The synth chime was better. It sounded so techno-retro, just awesome!

  • That's a loooooooooong chime!

  • i was there the other day though and i swear they were playing the old indicatif roissy... it's so unique! no way i could have imagined it.

  • @jjbingsnyc

you don't have the same chime in both airport.

The one your hear on this "video" is the Orly one, even though you may not hear it completely.

in Roissy/CDG they've kept the "robot" one, very old one...

  • here is the real Orly jingle 3w.youtube.com/watch?v=0Dxh_Vxq_40

  • Hey nameyourcharacter!!

Yes that's true I was at CDG Airport in August 2008 and in the jingle was singina an Opera woman!!^^

  • This isn't the chime I heard at CDG/Orly in November 2005 (and January 2006), though I can hear elements of the chime (the opera singer for example).

    Where did you source this?

  • I wonder why they replaced indicatif roissy chime by this chime

  • The indicative ADP airpots chmes was old before. So it was necessary to renew the image of Paris airports by providing a touch of "magic" in chime sound

  • @catsniper75 I prefer the old one to be honest. The new one sounds like the jingle you get before "publicité" (adverts) on French tv or radio.
