@TheKategolden He has a book soon to be published mentioned by Mark Lanier in the Q&A session as the most exhaustive work on C.S. Lewis. Mark's praise of it made Alister blush and Mark's humor made him laugh as well.
Dr.McGrath turned down Mark's invitation to speak at the Lanier Library Lecture Series several times. Mark went to England to personally appeal to him one last time and secured that this Lecture happened. I like that the Q&A session shows the deep regard they have for one another.
These Lectures have enabled me to study for my B.A in Humanities. I thank all involved , for giving up without pay , their valuable time . I am forever indebted as Dr Mac Grath's entire work's are the primary reading required for my Theology. Between watching listening to these video's I have gained 150 point's out of 200. Which has put me first honour's of my year 2.
@TheKategolden Yes, Mark's Lanier Library Lecture Series has many benefits. He puts these on free of charge. There is a link to his Library website on each video for those interested. I am happy Mark allows me to put up these quality videos enriching my YouTube channel. I try to get videos that will be of some value to others that they may not normally have access to. Thanks for your interest. please share this channel's resources with others.
Literally every lecture A McGrath gives contains this C S Lewis quote! Its a good quote but a bit over used. I heard Prof McGrath give a lecture at Chester Cathedral and he used this quote again. I was near the front and I couldn't resist a slight giggle...
@seanhflowers Yes, I sat on the front row. Thanks to the generosity of Mark Lanier I am able to upload his videos to YouTube. Mark puts on these Lecture Series free of charge. I have one more recent by Dr Peter Williams on New Evidence the Gospels were based on Eyewitness Accounts. It is generating a great deal of interest too.
My college insist I quote C.S.Lewis . So I am grateful that Dr.Mac Grath has done all the hard ground work for me .
