This genre of music usually grates on my nerves, but I love her songs. One Christmas I got one of her CDs. Gave it a try and I've been a big fan ever since.
I met her and spoke with her for a few moments at the Time Out for Women in Houston a few years ago and she is really genuinely nice and obviously talented, as you can tell from her music.
I hope 10 people aren't afraid of a boulder dropping on them^^
