What worries me is that the luthier is not using a respirator when spraying the guitar. A sure ticket to serious health problems. He has a mask dangling around his neck but doesn't use it. Not good.

As I posted earlier, this is truly amazing, the craftmanship that you put into the repairs. Also, what does such a repair cost? This, I'm sure is a factor when deciding to make such repairs? thanks again..

wah! But what great repair! I lost a good one on the way to the airport. The Bus driver did terrible things to it. Wah. Love that guitar.

Did not know it could be worth it replacing whole front like that. But mine was nut cracked and split in two from the finger board and neck. The whole tonality was destroyed. Only a expert could repair it. But it did not seem worth it. if they could.

Saved the electric pickup system, though. Wah!..lol!

worth it, if it has sentimental value or is an expensive guitar, BUT, I doubt it would be that much. I had my Taylor damaged by the airline, broke the neck right off at the joint where it meets the body, cracked the top and popped 3 braces, and even with paying Taylors shop fee, it cost me less than $350. and it had WAY more damage than this Takamine.
