  • Do you have the first segment of this special that details the Colonial Parkway murders? I believe it is before the Connecticut River Valley part. If so, please upload if you can. Glad to find this part too and thanks for posting it.

  • @msvick66 No, I don't have that one. I just taped this story because it was a memorable segment on Unsolved Mysteries.

  • I don't think that's the guy. Maybe.

  • Didn't she say he drove off in a Jeep Wagoneer in pt.2? You'd think

they would have followed up on that.

  • @kistershi because memories are too faulty and with time fade and/or change. Too many innocent people have been sent to prison based on a positive ID from a witness so now prosecutors try to get ironclad evidence like DNA samples and such.

  • too bad that the victim and their family had to go through this me being a family member of a murder victim I know exactly how they feel is a pain that never go away and the not knowing what happen and who is responsible is a very painful situation.God give them strenght like he had to me...

  • THERES NOOOOOO SUCH THING AS CLOSURE!!!! I WISH PEOPLE WOULD STOP USING THAT WORD!! U ONLY HAVE SOME ANSWERS. THE PAIN, THE MEMORIES, THE LACK OF UNDERSTANDING DOESNT GO AWAY!!

  • Jane you are so strong. Your child and yourself survived and didn't give the killer his satisfaction. I hope you find inner peace. If it wasn't for your survival, no one would know extra details about the killer you were able to speak about. I am sure all loved ones connected to the victim thank you for that. xox

  • it seems too unreliable that she wasnt sure if that was him when she was first shown pictures, and now after speaking with this journalist for some time she is. I'd think that if this was the man who really attacked her she would immediately recognize him, even after 20 years. I think she just wants to believe its him so that she can have closure and think hes dead and gone.

  • what kind of car did nicholoau drive?

  • how the hell so many murders and no body ever charged, and all so close to each other as well, and the fact he hung arround for many years to commit every murder???i just dont think several Police stations and all the Detectives could not come up with more?as well he got a shock with the pregnet lady, as i believe now he did not know this when he picked her and the car out, as well if he wanted he could of killed the baby as well, loves kids and hates woman?help me out here.

  • why is some dude who doesn't have a scary voice talk as if he does. this show blows it'd be scary if stack were still alive and narrating it.

  • @kistershi ..because is not reliable...

  • Damn that Ben Montgomery dude is sexy!

  • I m not convinced that he was the killer of six womens. As per my knowledge serial killers always do something with any purpose and give the hint why he was doing so. But they never understand what would be the effect of this on others life.

  • I read an article in today's newspaper about Nicholaou's son and Ms. Carty, the investigator. It makes it sound like Nicholaou was the murderer, but there is absolultey no direct evidence and little circumstantial evidence that he could have done any of the Conn. River Valley Murders.

Nicholaou was living in Virginia at the time of the earliest murders. Yes, he killed his second wife (and probably his first one too), but there's a leap from domestic murderer to serial murderer.

  • The scary thing about all this is we have so many soldiers coming home from multiple tours in the Middle East with the same types of underlying mental issues. Despite what the military would like us to believe, for far too many of our forces, it does continue to affect you long after you return to civilian life.

  • Poopydrawers, if you paid attention, that long haired bearded hippy is a actually a retired professor of criminology and criminal profileing, and likely has worked with police in other cases in the past. Don't judge the book by it's cover my friend...

  • @jayperelman poopypants ROFL nice

  • Maybe because he's far more intelligent than crew cut yokels ...

  • You are an idiot ! Let me guess only men with buzzcuts have a brain ? Yeah and all guys sporting crewcuts are all lugheads ? LOL Moron !

  • @poopydoolarroo appearance doesnt determin how intelligent a person is! its called 'dnt judge a book by its cover' so what he has long hair so what he has a beard it does not mean he dnt know what he is talking about. my son is 9 and has long blonde hair to his shoulders its radiculas how many ppl and kids call him a girl or say hes gay and hes the odd one out just because he doesnt want to have his hair cut short, but hes got modeling jobs because of his hair lol, its not all about looks!

  • serial killers look so normal everybody probably knows one and doesnt know it

  • @TheRisingforce2000 i know right!! alot of ppl expect someone who looks like a monster but in reality they are the 'normal' looking person the person who fits right in doesnt stand out in a croud. they usually to the outside seem like the person who would help others seemed like a really nice guy its always a shocker!! when i say to my son do not talk to strangers i never explain that they look like monsters as they dnt!!

  • so creepy im from east unity and grew up in newport and claremont but theres rumor that a man by tha name of jeffrey champlain was also a suspect to these murders

  • YIKES! you;ll be okay :)

  • poor poor woman to have to live with that memory its so sad

  • buddy who the fuck ru y u know so much

  • real life rambo.....

  • that man has issues, he was tramatized from the war, so it does things to people....

  • This guy seems to have a preference for women of a certain physical type. It seems that most of his victims, including his last wife, were heavy-set women with dark hair and average appearance.

  • Some were, some weren't.

All these women just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Very tragic case.

  • Did this Nickolow (sp?) drive a Jeep Cherokee?? Did they ever find a knife in his possessions?? I'm sure the police are doing all they can but these are a couple questions I have...

  • I don't think it was him. The man that did the murder suicide had very distinctive thick eyebrows unlike the initial sketch. That's not the kind of feature you don't notice.

  • It should be noted that Jane was never completely satisfied with the composite sketch of her attacker. (I read that in a article.)

  • I'm not sure.
