Interesting that this song also appeared in Donnie Darko another time travel movie, although it wasn't being performed by broken social scene. I also like the vampire theme used in the video. Love of giving to others tearing apart from the old ways of love of feeding off anothers energy.

I used to hate this. I really hated it when I heard it in the film. However, I've decided now that I actually quite like it.

It's definitely not Joy Division, but it's not really trying to be, it's been very much BSS-ed, and I like that.

Theater of Tragedy does a cover of Decades which is pretty cool, and Nine Inch Nails did Dead Souls at least. It is weird that this tends to be the main song covered by them. Maybe its the attraction of depression and this song can be very personal then the others.
