  • Man Im glad you never deleted your video, I was looking for a vid with the Breedlove guitar and yours sound great, Im going to buy a new guitar but im between the breedlove and Taylor, hard decision, how your guitar is holding so far? take care and continue doing good music!

  • A friend of mine had the same guitar, beatiful instrument, sadly it got stolen :/

Good music you got there man! (=

  • Great song.:)

  • Great men....!

  • awsome tune great guitar

  • I have the CR 25 dreadnought and it's a fantastic guitar.

  • I love your video. This is a beautiful piece! I was hoping you could tell me what guitar this is? I just must have it. Thanks- Bre

  • @KEISHAVISION Breedlove AD/25 SR+

  • @jklseattle Man, I own the same guitar and it rocks, given it's Korean made. The tone is so rich.

  • I just love this clip.. I don't know who in their right mind would give this a neg..?

Other than the two capos is the guitar in standard tuning?

Thank you for leaving it up.. I come back to it quite often to listen to it..

Very nicely done. Blessings from Vancouver Canada

  • @christrealized Yes, standard tuning. Glad you like the tune. :-)

  • Beautiful guitar ;)

  • I really like this, it has so much feeling and emotion to it. nice job.

  • thx brother,,,have you tried a spider capo? i want to get one. brett lemos

  • woo,,,alot of mechanics there with capos,,,,,,i think the spider one will do similar things? i gotta get a spider,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,brett lemos

  • Your brother is taking his sweet time with watching this. While I didn't steel what you wrote, it really inspired me to write in a similar fashion - very nice!

  • @bbunters lol...Yeah, I meant to take it down early on, but I got hooked on the attention it's gotten. Especially since I'm too lazy to ever record this or turn it into anything more than a youtube video. :-(

  • @bbunters alot of mechanics ther with those,, i think a spider will do similar,,,,i gotta get a spider,,,nice lick. brett lemos

  • beautiful....congrats!!!

  • I was wondering which company strings you were using? I'm getting this guitar soon and I played one at Guitar Center and it sounded a little boomy?

Well I love this piece you composed..hope for more to come..(?)

  • @Bawoo Honestly, I can't remember if those were the stock strings it came with or if they were mine. I can tell you that I'm an Elixir guy. Medium guage, phosphor bronze with the polyweb coating. Like the strings slick to touch and with the perfect blend of warmth and crispness. It's all a matter of taste, of course. Everyone has a different ear.

  • @Bawoo Breedloves come stock with D'Addario strings but I hear they are transitioning towards Cleartones. I've been using cleartones for several years and they sound great!

  • @bpisan I guess it's a matter of taste. Tried cleartones once myself per a recommendation from the counter guy at Guitar Center. The strings were black within 3 weeks of only playing for about half an hour every other day. I prefer the slick mobility of finger movement elixers support. Just my preference.

  • @jklseattle My Cleartones started to go black in places in 1 week of 2 hrs a ady practicing. went back to D'Addario medium gauge strings 2 weeks later.

  • my friend has that guitar and its a beautiful guitar i love it. im looking at a getting a new acoustic ( i have a 30 year old takamine) would anyone have any recommendations for a reasonable priced breedlove as in no more than like $700

  • @krewkid97 not sure if you're still in the market for a breedlove, but I'd recommend checking out their webpage for models, find one you like, then check online retailers for pricing. I know there was a slightly "lesser" version of the one I'm playing here at the shop I bought mine at for about $600. Had great sound and feel, I just preferred the rosewood back and the inlays on this one.

  • That's an awesome guitar. I have a Pro Series C25 / CRH.

  • awesome song man i like it!!!!

  • puff puff.... right this down man!!!

  • i'm thinking of getting a

    Breedlove Atlas C25/SR Concert

    recomended??? anyone???

  • sound very beautiful ..

  • Incredible. What 3/4-string capo are you using? I plan on buying the C25, which is basically the same as this guitar and I'd like to know what capos will fit the neck. Tried using a 6-string capo to cover three strings on my old guitar but it kept slipping off.

  • it's just a regular kyser. upside-down. oddly though, not all "regular" kysers seem to have the same length of underside "rubber" (I'm obviously very technical in my descriptions). You might want to bring your guitar into whatever shop you plan on getting your kapo and see if there's a way to sample a few on your neck in the way I've described to make sure. Although, I think kyser capos come packaged in such a way that you can't sample them before buying. Oh, well. good luck!

  • Glad you decided to leave it on YT...Nice song, and beautifully played. If you ever have the tab for it, please send it my way.

    Thanks

  • Don't delete the song...it's a really nice tune....very pretty...

  • Sounds great, good job. Never seen anyone play with two capos at once.

  • Trace Bundy does it too.

  • If you have a myspace please add me as I would love to keep tabs on your music..

    Kudos from Vancouver Canada

    indigoresonance is my user name

    Christopher

  • Thanks for the encouragement (and I like you're user name). I don't have a MySpace music page, unfortunately. What's more unfortunate is that I almost never write music. I'm so anal-retentive about music and lyrics that unless I think nothing has ever been written quite like it, I won't write it. Which of course means that I never write. :)

  • Fantastic piece or music...! I love it.. and would love to learn to play it as well.. what tuning are you in and what kind of capo set up is that.. very creative piece.. do you have it for sale on a CD..?

If you have a CD with this kind of music I would buy it..

  • Thats the kind of stuff i like. Nice easy melodic guitar.

  • beautiful composition...complementary guitar:D i wanted to buy it..but shit happens...moving composition though:D

  • does anyone know what he is playing???

  • It's a Breedlove. Model: AD/25 SR+

  • Hey bud, did you come up with that or is that based loosely off another song. I feel like as crazy as it sounds....I have heard it. I also have the same guitar and its awesome. Love it. I am just trying to really figure out if I have heard this before. If not.....the song is pretty amazing for sure. Go Hawks

  • lol, As far as I know, I came up with it. But it wouldn't be the first time I ever wrote a tune that ended up being a song I heard on the radio the day before. :0

  • woops sorry you responded to another comment answering.

  • what model is that>????

  • I getting a new acoustic and jesus breedloves sound A MAZING!

  • This tune reminds me of Tommy Emmanuel's Morning Aire. Idunno, just something about it is similar

  • More than a lick, and I mean that nicely.

  • I play a lot in that capo fixture, and the first time I tried it on the breedlove it made the high E and B strings go flat. REALLY frustrating. It's only working in this video because the strings were heavily played their "usedness" seemed to have countered the warp in the neck.

  • To address some of the questions that have been asked on here, Mr. "Em1nenceFr0nt" has laid it out correctly. The capos are indeed on 4 and 6 respectively and are capoing the strings as he's explained, and the tuning is standard.

And to answer one of the older questions, the model is the AC-25 SR Plus. And that's interesting about the 1 in 40 neck problem thing. I think I actually got the one, LOL. That capo trick I'm doing actually doesn't work on new strings. (cont. on next post)....

  • The high capo (close to the bridge) is only capo'ing the 3,4,5 strings at the 6th fret.

The bottom capo (closer to the nut) looks to be on the 4th fret.

If it was in standard tuning originally, it would result in a tuning of

    (from 6 to 1)

    G#-C#-G#-C#-D#-G#

Can't tell if that's exactly where the CAPO is, but if this is the case it's

  • That's really cool how you use 2 capos, makes it sound very unique. That's a beautiful guitar. I just got a Breedlove 12-string, excellent quality.

  • Wow this made feel fuzzy inside nice sound.

  • that guitar is a fine piece of wood, i just recently bought the black magic, breedlove is amazing

  • hes using the 1st capo (nearest the 1st fret) for the top 2 strings, the 2nd capo is used for the 6th,5th,4th and 3rd strings so you get a really nice tone, ps really kwl sound mate like it alot

  • that is one beautiful lick man.

  • Hi ! Thanks for the demo. Great job. But please, what model of breedlove is ?

    Eric (from France).

  • it appears to be an atlas series ad25 sr plus

  • oh snap, if that's true, that's awesome. I'm about to buy the ac-25. I've heard that like 1 in 40 of them have bad neck problems though, but I think I'll be fine. Looks awesome.

  • Sounds really great bro.
