"when do vocals come in?" it's a too common question, in these days: it's like people had lost the passion for the music, for the good, dense, intense music well played...
Ruth, at a dinner in Philadelphia, I once played a slow, bluesy version of gershwin's Summertime and a lady walked up to me and said you have an "old soul". Well you have an "old soul" and I say that with the dearest respect. You play with both a modern feel and a feel of jazz and showtime classics. Have you recorded ?? If the answer is no, than why not ??

I would like to see you do this, a hundred times slower.
I think you could nail it but take the jazz out.
Think about the words, it is slow and said.
I would never hide behind glasses either,
just turn the lights down if you want to mask yourself,
Older folks who would love to have you do this song,
lives in a far slower pace, younger folks have to slow down.
I do think you are onto something and support your work.
