  • ....i salute your honesty...you seem to have suffered a lot ....on the down side though ,you like most other younger generation of rimpoches these days seem to be living on borrowed times ....heavily relient on the spiritual merit of your past incarnations....chances are you could even be the wrong incarnation....for all you dharma seekers, just follow his holiness the Dalai lama and his excellency karmapa....for guidance ....and you will be on the right track.

  • Dear Rinpoche, Thank you, please give us more of teachings and dharma lessons ,keep it up.

  • Finally. Some damn honesty about an archaic system that is still rooted in the 10th century. Buddhism is always relavent in the now. The now of time, culture and nationality. You don't need to mimick Tibetan buddhism, Japanese Buddhism, Korean Buddhism, etc. When I was at Gyuto monastery in Dharamsala, there were always armed guards around to protect the Karmapa and the Dalai Lama from other so-called buddhists! Peace and practice. That's it! I admire Kalu Rimpoche alot for his honesty.

  • Mr. Kalu Rinpoche, I have just known about you today, and I feel your pain. Just keep hanging on there man, you can do it :) All of us here believe in you very much !

  • Dear Rinpoche, as you know the human mind has the potential to change suffering into good works. May your vision of creating a better system come true. Your suffering and your ability to come into a better understanding of the human contition can help many others. The system you describe is a reflection of how the world is in general. There is much abuse in the world, yet it can be changed the answer is within you. Bless you.

  • Your style is so cool . Didn't know you were a spiritual teacher actually...

  • Wow dear Rinpoche, i'm very sad to hear this from you, pls change this system. Much love, peace!

  • Rinpoche, You will be a great teacher someday. You have the ability to plant seeds that have been lost to many. We have an expression, "What doesn't kill you, can make you stronger." Trust the process. Love your enemies. The power of forgiveness is truly transformational. I have faith in you. Take good care of yourself and keep following your purpose. Your openness, sincerity, and honesty are helping many people.

    Bellsings,

    Chutso

  • The system won't let me post a comment

  • All the rinpoches are parasites. They live off the society but contribute nothing. Some even shamelessly pretent to be better than other human beings. Tibetan practice of reincarnation should be banned for the general health of buddhism. This rinpoche business is making joke of buddhism.

  • @yakmanok that is your opinion and that is fine but the Rinpoches I know have helped many people all over the world.Google Akong Rinpoche and Lama Yeshe Rinpoche they are human and they help

  • menteur !!!!!!!!

  • I think it's great that you are so frank and honest on YT. I think it's great that young people have a young Rinpoche that has gone through many of the things they go through, things that they have seen. It gives me great hope to see the next generation, like yourself. Wise words, brave steps, you're doing 'fine and dandy' as we say. I shall keep in touch. Lots more uploads I hope.

  • Lama Kalu I love you love you love you love you, you are my Guru forever, you are closer to me than ever before. Your life is now like our lives and we love you all the more for it. Do good for good is good to do; shun evil that is the teaching, the Dharma and that is exactly what you are saying.

  • Sorry to hear about all this sadness, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Hopefully these horrible things will make you a better person/teacher.. stay strong and continue to help others with your lessons and teachings...hopefully these horrible things will not happen to others,

  • Well, do you really feel that you are the right reincarnation of previous great master Kalu rinpochoe?

  • Some1 give me info about him.. I don't like and cant believe what m hearing... Sounds like u need to go rehab first.

  • if u can do everything u can-put it all down

  • Issue is perhaps the formation of schools.

  • Where human beings come together and organize, there will always be such kind of trouble! Be it monks, socialists or human rights activists, always you'll find some who like to use this as a means of attaining and (ab)using power! Sad But True!

  • Thank you very much for your honesty Rinpoche.

Many practitioners in my part of the world (Europe), often make the mistake of viewing a person who is ordained or wearing red robes, as someone who has reached a high level of compassion / wisdom, or someone they should look up to as higher beings. Unfortunately this isn´t always the case - and many practitioners are still dealing with ignorance, attatchment and these things (some worse than others) that appear in all aspects of the human realm.

  • You're a good man Kalu Rinpoche.

  • Comment removed

  • This is real life and sadly people have had problems unifying their behaviour with their spiritual values. We all have problems and it is foolish to think any particular group of human beings would be better or worse. Yes the Catholic Church has had problems and I am sure all other religionus organizations are not free from such things. However Yangsi Kalu Rinpoche at the end of the day, will become a very wise and helpful lama with experience and wisdom. He will benefit many sentient beings.

  • Kalu Rinpioche finally screw up his fu ckings life as in a cage and step down as an ordinary guy. Now it's better to find a smooth P.u.s.s.y though

  • By the grace of modern sophisticated technology, every single creature either human form or non-human, reincarnated persons, can openly express their views to the citizen of the world. In fact, it is really painful and moving when your notions whispered into my ears. Kalu la, I am always with you if you have experienced those misbehavior. let me tell you the way I think about Tibetan lamas and Rinpoches:

  • Something must be wrong with you.Lama's sould be always different from normal living human.do not make up story and ruin the long run Buddhist religion within few minutes.

  • there are many great monk in tibet, who have found real teaching of buddha , no doubt about it. but bitter truth is more then 80% monk in tibet are just a worthless and burden and disgrace for tibetan society. but there is nothing wrong with tibetan buddhism and its cultural..i salute you for telling the truth, but you are part of that 80% of the monk who made tibetan buddhism joke. so plz shun the monastery and live as normal people. that way you will find true peace.

  • i understand how you feel and what you're going through; to have so much expectations to live up to and see through so many things at such an early age is a true test of one's character, principles and the ability to live a genuine honest life; genuine buddhism is never a rigid institutional 'regime' centred around rich 'jindaks'; dear Rinpoche find your unique way to live and emanate this precious teaching; never lose your dignity and self-respect; you see what others refuse to see; blessings

  • Thankyou Kalu Rinpoche for this. I am very saddened by these things that happened to you, this is not good, but I'm not shocked. That you have, inspite of all this, decided to keep to the proper path is really good. This brings much hope for your future and what you will be able to do within the Buddhist community. It's really good that you have brought these bad practises out into the open, do take care of yourself though and be with good friends who follow the true path. Peace be with you.

  • Do you ever wonder where is your dad now? I am most curious to find out where is my dad when he past away, how spirit works. Does he need my help?

I am sure your life experiences are fit the sentient being that is your duty. I am sure you will come out when the time you need to be come out....feel sad you have to go thru this conquer way to help people in future. Just be careful! Cheer up!

  • Like making it fit ones life. Find the truth in what they say but don't take everything 100%. . I give my total love to you. I keep you in my heart. You are my partners teacher. You confirmed her whole life. It is not the illusionary idea that most people create and want to believe. Keep It Real. Always .

  • Osiyo. Greetings. Thank you for this video. My partner just started a long retreat. She is blown away by your truth . Saddened by it . To many people think teachers are God. They also following them as one. Then what you say just show how much more is needed to follow a path then just following .

  • Thank you for this and for reaching out to people the way you do! I and my son took refuge in the 70s with the previous Kalu Rinpoche and then met YOU in Sherabling and in Bofhgaya when you were around 12-14, haven't followed your whereabouts since then. Surprised and pleased to find you here : ) Wish you all precious things and happiness on your path -

    always connected

  • Congratulations, fellow human being. I pray you continue on your path to realization. It's good to hear that you're happy with who you are, and obviously the silly commentators here and elsewhere who try to put you down have never gone through what you have. As Jesus said, "Forgive them for they know not what they do."

    Sarva Mangalam my friend.

  • I'm completely shocked.

I know it has nothing to do with Bouddha's teachings, as they have the merit to be very clear.

  • Wow. You have tremendous courage; to get out from an abusive background, and to build something new and better. I hope you continue to find more and more happiness.

  • Thanks for being sooo authentic! No one but YOU has the courage to speak. A REAL spiritual Being. And don't bother about the idiots who can't understand. They still have to grow and purify their minds!

  • i cant bielive that this guy is the youngsi of kalu rimpoche really bad luck for hes students.

  • @shantidewa His students have tears in their eyes; if he goes to hell they will follow him there chanting the Ksitigarbha mantra. Hope that spelling is right.

  • He is not the only Rinpoche or Tulku to speak out against the monastic system. Thank you.

  • u high ?? confessions..?? its more of an accusation. !!!

  • @aboaka

  • I have no respect for this guy,he should be sham to call Kalu rinpoche him self. If any one respect , that will be only westerners because they have no idea of his gam playing.

  • @Kelsangification ....so in a little over 30 words you prove that every religion has a fool...ROTFL

  • This guy is sick, he is not Kalu Rinpoche at all

  • Dear Rinpoche, I hug you in my thoughts. You have been through a lot, may you now have peace and good poeple around you!

  • Ah yes,I forgot to tell you that you are just perfect and that I love you very very much. Come on,please take a stand. I need you!

  • Yangsi. Get up. Control your mind.Sjit happens and you have the right to be totally angry, but after that come and help me. I am the woman who has the power to bring Peace,Love and Compassion back into the world. Facebook/Anne Hamelynck

  • Some might say that eventually, and inevitably all institutions will become corrupt - and by this turn of thought excuse the corruption of any given organization. However, in order to uphold the samaya of protection - don't we have a duty to take a stand against violence wherever it is found? I would suggest that if western practitioners avert our gaze from the violence within Tibetan Buddhism, we are doing so only to feed our own romantic notions about our spiritual heritage.

  • As we embrace Tibetan Buddhism we need to be aware of the problems of the Institution and learn to separate the culture of Tibet and the Culture of the Monasteries and the institutions from Buddhism. On issue I had a lot suspicions is sexual abuse and other forms of abuse, and here it is revealed. Congratulations for the courage and the humbleness, the bodichitta shines.

  • Thank you, Rinpoche. It has always seemed to me that the benefits of the practice should allow us to "see what is, as it is" rather than merely constructing elaborate fictions that support our social relations. Exploring our reality together ... true sangha, no? :-)

    Mangalam!

    KC:

  • You need to get a good education, a western education, it is tragic the monastic system that you have been a victim.

It is good you are exposing this, I feel very very sad for you, it is actually very honest, although I have been hard on you for the 'rap video" and falling for the need to be a 'hip lama" that is more marketing . I have been a western tibetan buddhist for 30 years, and this monastic medieval system is religion NOT a spiritual path for anyone. You have to break away.

  • One thing you are doing is exposing the Sexual Abuse in monasteries, rampant!!!!!

That is a GOOD thing. this has to be exposed.

I think most of the Rinpoches are damaged narcissists, it is very sad, but until they start being human beings, instead of this bullshit 'living god" diety worship, nothing is going to change.

  • Dear Rinpoche,

My respect for you has doubled to infinity. I admire your boldness, your compassionate heart, and your honesty. You have given authentic meaning of Buddhism that we people find it absolutely easy to understand.

    Much respect,

    n

  • Time for Tibetophiles to finally debunk all this religion around the dharma (which is merely the reliable parts of it).

I think - as much as I respect Rinpoche - he is still complicit with these depravities as he falsely attributes the reponsibility only to individuals. These depravities are inherent in the endless little falsehoods mixed in with the dharma on the level of the teachings. And it is this why their own culture doesn't really believe it anymore even while they sell it to the West.

  • pretty on you. stay happy.

  • Dear young Master of Buddhism!

Thank you for your courage and for speaking the truth.

These times require renewal and adaptation. The essence never changes, but is updated and adapted.

Buddha bless your steps. Take the Dharma everywhere you go!

I'm gay and a follower of Buddhism ... And now ... His fan too!

    Thanks!

  • Wishing you the best brightest warm hearted realizations of an achievable utopian civilization coming to fruition within our current life time, may all i have said be spontaneously perceived in all minds always. i love you

  • after hearing what you have said, i meet you as a friend, and walk with you with all these things. i great deal of respect you. i wish you the best.

  • please show or give us the evidence or proof..... Otherwise don lie

  • best for you to resign from rinpoche post, because you don't deserve that and don't misuse it. you can do anything with your self but if you are kalu rinpoche then there is some discipline and

some monastery rules which has to follow by everyone yourself included. same goes with college, university, and high school. if you are sexually abuse name the monk who did it but you have no right to blame rest. i think you are fashion guy likes new cloths, style everyday just need to excuse to blame some.

  • @nawang99 I don't think Rinpoche has blamed "the rest" for who had sexually abused him. He well understands that he has no right to name those monks. I in-fact appreciate Rinpoche for having the courage to speak out unlike most of us. Who says a Dharma practitioner can't be fashionable?! I think it is the most basic human right to be one-self.

  • Yes, I agree, the structure of Buddhism (especially Tibetan Buddhism) must be changed. And this can be done by you and other young RInpoche who can bring a change by reforming a new structure following the true principles of Buddhism. Like you said not through money, power, politics, name, fame, and sexual malpractice. This kind of malpractice must come to an end.

I wish you all the very best with your project and may all your wish come true.

  • @truthful2012 all is being taken care of. guru is taking care of every little matter. and when i say guru i DONT mean kalu rinpoche or any other rinpoche. i mean it is being taken care of by guru himself. thnkx happy new year

  • Hello Rinpoche,

I am so sorry to hear about the horrifying incident that has happened with you. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. I am sure there are many more who suffered and are still suffering like you in the monastic life. I hope your video of confession will encourage others (young monks) to express and reveal the truth of suffering in monastic life.

  • Rimpoche, I'm so sad to hear this terrible news .. I have not yet been able to meet you in your present incarnation, but I received teachings from your past one in France (Plaige), and it was just so wonderful, we could just sit back and relax in your sky like gentle spiritual energy - healing, uplifting, and in a unique peaceful way ! So it's all the more heartbreaking for me to hear this, because I know the good you do and have done. May all this evil be dispelled ! All my love !

  • Thank you very much for you honest... I made a 3 years retreat and I know how the hypocrisy with the lama and so.... take care of you. I hope that one day I Will work with you.

  • are you fucking kidding or what

  • I am so sorry to know what has been happening to you......but this is the times when all darkness must come up to the light and be transformed. I wish you all the best and I find it very brave that you are finally able to speak about your great pain. May you exeperience lots og love and fortune in the rest of your life on earth.

  • talking about abuse, you can see this video about a Tibetan Guru ,having sex with his disciples (youtube.com/watch?v=P5j8KeT2w4A&baseref) There are no en-lighted people, just people, not a Buddha. If you are in this situation , don't fear to show the truth

  • So sorry to hear that you had to undergo those terrible experiences.

My heart is touched by your sincerity May Wisdom and Compassion prevail and totally purify this bad karma for the benefit of all sentient beings.

    Love

  • Each person's "story" reminds us how much loving-kindness and compassion we need to continuously send and receive. It must have been so hard to have people expect you to help them with their pain when you had so much of your own. You've blazed a new path with this video. It is my sincere wish that you can use everything in your life, good and bad, on the Buddhist path. Thank you.

  • Hang on, isn't it creepily karmic that the current Kalu rinpoche is complaining about sexual abuse when his former incarnation was accused of sexual abuse/exploitation by a former student? I mean, can anyone else not see the potential karmic link here?! Or have some Buddhists on this thread become totally blind to karma when talking about their own guru/lama? June Campbell....

  • @atomxgirl Do YOU have some proof about that ? What student? When ? Where ? Please YOU back this one up with evidence ...

  • @atomxgirl Did you ever meet the former Kalu Rinpoche? If you did would you ever imagine this frail person, much like I am now, actually managing or wanting to sexual exploit one of this mature followers who could have said "no" anyway. In the sixties we lived in Sandup Targey Ling and really got into Tibetan Buddhism and its problems just as there were problems with the hangers on. We are Vajrayana Buddhists and perhaps those who don't know what this is should read C.M. Chen's booklets.

  • "some people think i have great qualifications and i have memories from my past life, but i don't" yeah, because it's all a big fairy tale.

  • tibetan buddhism is basically just a family run mafia, a family business. practically all the high lamas are related in one way or another. first they lived off the peasants of tibet like leeches, now they live off gullible westerners, like leeches. fire your lama, tell him/her to GET A FUCKING JOB.

  • @BillKiernan Come on idiot have you tried to get a job these days. There's unemployment everywhere.

  • I SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR JOURNEY!! beautiful.

  • @sonam426 why not working

  • It is wonderful that you are raising these topics in public. The rose coloured glasses people look at lamas and monks and Rinpoches with must be taken off.

  • @LamaDechenNamdrol sorry, why do you make such a gross generalisation about Tibetan rinpoches from one public allegation (which has not been backed up with any evidence)?

  • @atomxgirl I didn't say anything about any lama or Rinpoche at all.

  • @LamaDechenNamdrol We could know more if people brake their Samaya with their Gurus.

  • @Luismedinautah There is no samaya if the guru is not qualified to grant empowerment. The qualifications are enumerated in detail in many books available these days. The problem is, not enough disciples are reading the books.

  • Rinpoche,

Thank you for the TRUTH. Westerners in particular have a very idealized view of Tibet and lamas and monks. We are all human beings who make decisions for many reasons, some very noble and some very selfish.

I pray your negative experiences have not harmed your faith in the truth which the Buddha taught and I pray for your health and your projects.

  • @1951kvk " Westerners in particular have a very idealized view of Tibet and lamas and monks." they are taught to have that idealized view by the literature and the tradition itself. the whole thing is a giant con, a sham.

  • oṃ a ra pa tsa na dhīḥ ༀ་ཨ་ར་པ་ཙ་ན་དྷཱི༔

    Wénshū 文殊 or 文殊菩薩

Thank you for telling about your life,

    dear Kalu Rinpoche.

Wishing you peace, wisdom , love and joy ...

success in all your beneficial activities .

  • Je suis très impressionné. Respect.

  • Thank you for telling truth. Thank you not playing with name of Tulku to earn money, sex, home project. You are sincere.

    one great saint said...

I dont bow and listen and do as you said being buddha,

i will not say bad because of not being buddha.

But i will do as what i think is right with karma as witness.

    thank you.

This is speech for funny western who use Tulku for their power, name, and use to control others.... Thanks i got more faith on you than before,

    Good Morality gooodddd..

  • Normally i am bored of Reincarnated Tulku and so on, Because we have thousands so we can choose.

But i got more respect for you now because you are looks like honest, not playing under name like other spoiled Tulku, making money, telling fake things,

You are reincarnation of big lama, i know but i dont respect before, but hearing your truth, sincere, free mind speech, i got realise that you are real big reincarnated lama. Thanks for your sincereness. You tell truth karma is your witness. lov

  • AWESOME!!! I AM SO GLAD YOU CAME FOWARD.I HAVE had many wake up calls and swa things that smelled in many so caleed sangas. now the real work can begin..i hope the vajrayana can see the immense awakening goin on in the west, with such things as echart tolle, satsangs, waking down, david spero, sanial bonder, ken wilbur, modern lineages

  • Thank you so much Kalu for your honesty! The Buddha dharma needs people like you. Honesty.

  • I love you too..

  • so sorry to hear about your pain. May you find healing and love

  • Thank you Buddha

  • Its part of your karma ,of your attachment ...

  • No worries dharma people! time will tell

My devotion & faith remains the same ;-) hahaha

  • You should be aware, that the tibet its not a paradise full of enlighteed people,

just a people with a tradicional method ...

  • When you choose a Master, you should check him or her before follow him like a sheep.

If he claim to be a tulku o a reincarnation, you should see if he fits. Why did this violence happened to him? It is Karma. If your are Buddhist you should know what really means. How a guy with this Karma could be a tulku o reincarnation ?

It seems that monasteries in tibet are full of tulkus and reincarnations for getting money and respect .As a concesequence ,they grow up to became a Master with perversions.

  • beautiful, moving, courageous video - it has inspired an article by myself and a fellow writer on elephantjournal - it's a good website, check it out!

  • @JAYDUBYAH29 Beautiful? Are you serious? What's beautiful about a young man making a public video that accuses people of abuse without BACKING IT UP WITH ANY EVIDENCE? Do you not believe in justice, ethical journalism? What happened to the right of his alleged attackers to defend themselves? Why does he not name them/be specific? People who make accusations without backing them up are guilty of harmful gossip. People should be viewed as INNCOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

  • @atomxgirl this is a young man who's life has been stolen - who was declared a being of supernatural origin at age 2 and made the figurehead of a religious order. he is breaking silence on a set of horrifically traumatic experiences - not in accusation, not naming names, not asking us to declare anyone guilty without evidence - but as a personal sharing of his struggle and suffering.

it is beautiful because it is so raw and honest and braver than you or i could imagine given his situation.

  • @atomxgirl i spent most of my life in that corrupt family business known as tibetan buddhism. spend enough time close enough to tibetan lamas/monks and none of his story will be surprising to you at all. and if he doesn't name them, then there's no one to be "innocent until proven guilty" so your post doesn't even make sense.

  • @BillKiernan no your post doesn't make sense to make such an accusation re a serious crime and not back it up with any evidence or specifics is not fair or just. Or at least do something constructive with that confession other than smear the name of Tibetan Buddhism, Its actually on the same level as GOSSIP....that's all.

  • @atomxgirl you're just too doe-eyed to realize how rampant all this is in Tibetan Buddhism. which is corrupt on par with the Catholic Church. learn tibetan, and listen in on what those lamas say about you western students. *hint* most of it is condescending. you're cash cows to them, they think you're a joke.

  • @BillKiernan Even if some lamas have that kind of thinking, so what ? We should not be affected by other people's negativity. They are making their own bad karma and they will be the *joke* in the end ....

  • @kamalawhite the whole institution is rotten to the core. they're all a bunch of snake oil salesman, charging you top dollar for empty hopes and promises. you know, like all religion does. are you wearing any magic charms they gave you? in the 21st century? think about it the next time you bow down like a medieval surf to a man on a throne who never had to work a day in his life because of the family he was born into.

  • @BillKiernan I believe you have no idea what true buddhism is about - it is something of the heart, not about magic charms and the like ... And the snakes you talk about ...you've been spoiled by your own negative experiences with people, just as Rimpoche said, look and act like buddhists but that's all they do - they're the ones you should be angry at ...

  • It takes great courage for a person to tell the whole truth and Kalu Rinpoche is a person of courage. "This guy" has heavy responsibilities and is doing his best to fulfill them in a personally honest way. The fact that others have personally suffered worse problems does not invalidate the points he's made about some of the worst abuses of monasticism and the need for Buddha's teachings to inform all aspects of our lives in socirty.

  • I forgot to add, having watched the video, Kalu seems very bogged down with HIS issues, pain etc. I mean the Dalai Lama, the 17th Karmapa have had FAR MORE serious issues than this guy, but you don't see them making such a video like this? They didn't go off the rails and become drug addicts did they? If he wanted to see justice then he could have gone down a much more formal and just route than posting such a blog video without even naming the ALLEGED attackers. Very unjust of him.

  • @atomxgirl this is a completely insensitive and inappropriate comment. why are you angry and judgmental toward a young man who is very vulnerably and frankly sharing his trauma. i can't even believe you would minimize it and compare him to others in the way you are - as if it is a sign of his lack of spiritual development that he is not maintaining silence, repressing his emotions and keeping it "all in the family" of a corrupt institution.

  • @JAYDUBYAH29 " why are you angry and judgmental toward a young man who is very vulnerably and frankly sharing his trauma" because she's doe-eyed and thinks tibetan buddhism is all siddhis and bodhichitta.

  • @atomxgirl yours is similar to the typical response of a dysfunctional family member who vilifies the sibling that starts to get help and tell the truth about the family sickness, or the "patriot" that beats up on the person who blows the whistle on something unethical in the power structure. usually this energy is born out of intense defensive reaction to your own traumas/emotional pain.

  • Let's not forget that great spiritual leaders like the Dalai Lama and the 17th Karmapa also both grew up under the tulku system and don't appear to be too 'damaged' by it? It will be interesting to see what, if any, their response is to Kalu Rinpoche's tale. I have to be honest, though, if his postings on FB and his website are anything to go by....he doesn't come across remotely 'spiritual' or learned and likes taking nice photos of himself in lay person's clothes.

  • @1fromtibet your threatening gesture and tone might be one of the reason rinpoche chose not to divulge the name assailants. First fully understand the context of the speech. he is not saying monks are bad but instead he is saying being a monk doesn't necessarily make good. Yes monks are dying in Tibet and it is very sad and frustrating for me as a Tibetan too. but what has that to do with what Rinpoche is saying. he is asking people to follow buddha's true principle of compassion.

  • Rinpoche I am truly sadden by what happened to you this kind of abuse is not only prevalent but also in most educational facilities in the Third world countries. It is due to the lack of accountability of those who govern these facilities. It is an criminal act by individuals made even serious by negligent attitude of senior officials. Such acts have no place in places of learning. I understand it was hard to come out with what happened. Thank you for your courage

  • Thank you Rinpoche for your honest and moving speech. I am very sorry that you had to experience sexual abuse and murder attempt. I wish and hope this makes you finally stronger and that you have people who support you now and in the future. Though it is very sad what you are reporting, I think these things have to been said. So thank you very much. All the best for your projects and school. Hope to meet you in the future

  • You are not helping all beings and who are die in Tibet as monks and nuns. I am a Tibetan from Tibet... we will suffering lots under Chinese Government, My families are sacrificed much more than you...

Once more I am telling you .... Listed down all name of monks and monastery...

If you dont have then, you are liar and trying harm our country cause, as well those great lamas, who are working human being like His Holiness the Dalai Lama...

  • @1fromtibet Agree, anyone who makes such public accusations should be called on to back them up by providing names and evidence. This is an outrageous slur on Tibetan Buddhism and monasteries by a very self-obsessed individual (judging by the video) at a time when so many Tibetans are suffering far worse than him every day in Tibet.

  • When you all MONKS means.... entire of Tibetan Religious Sector are - Bon - Ngingma - Sakya - Kagyu - Gelugpa. I can understand what you have been faced... If you think you are innocent then. Plz give us name of monks who did such dirty action with you and name of monastery.

  • Je ne peux pas poster l'adresse du lien mais il faut chercher dans sanghaforum confession de kalou rinpoché

  • Ema-ho! Thanks for your candor Kalu. You will set a new trend in the world of Tibetan Buddhism and more.

  • I empathize with you. Sometimes teaching by example, including and sharing one's challenges and efforts to work with and through them, is much more powerful than teaching as if you had all the answers. I appreciate your doing that and wish you inner peace and all that you need to accomplish your goals for yourself and others. Stay strong but don't be afraid to be weak, nor to ask for help. Peace brother.

  • How can we support you Kalu? #OWS is got yer back brother!

  • St.Thomas SpreadingEagle, So Kalu is Human,I am Human. He is still my Friend and still my Brother. He has my support to be all that he can be and manifest the Dharma and Mission. His Lesson and mine also is to always Practice and manifest Lojong/Tonglen no matter what the Darkness and Uglinesss of the World Brings. He choose and I choose to be the Light of Compassion and Kindnesss in these worst and darkest of Times.I wish Him the Best, my Love and Prayers.I am just a normal Human Being.

  • God bless you and protect you, Kalu Rinpoche!
