I like that fact they are all original and aren't dancing all over the place acting like they are high and mighty... They actually hold fast to keeping the beat and trying to be spot on with the riffs right into the long sustains getting the feedback, rolling back into the rhythm of the tune. Gear as far as amps PA and Mics were so crude back then, and yet today you can't get those tones RARELY out of gear today.

@KsManimal Deep Purple Stole the "RAT BAT BLUE" riff completely from the song"WATCH YOUR STEP"by Bobby Parker.Kantucky fried blues intro sound like this riff really, but dont think enought to consider a rip off .Deep Purple ripp Bobby Parker without a doubt,is not very similar...is tottaly the same riff.check it out.Ok but is just the riff the rest of the song is original,so is this Naz tine.PEACE!
@XXNIRVANAXX1000 Yeah, I gotcha. )))) I just never liked Deep Purple. For me Black Sabbath's Iron Man and Nazareth's KFB riffs are far more iconic than Smoke on the Water.
Most excellent. Loved Naz since first hearing them back when the Tennessee Midnight Rambler played them on the local FM station while I drank boilermakers. What a band. DannieMac and I have the same birthday a year apart.
Completly under rated band...Manny can jam that axe...K. Fried Blues is just another Naz song that is swept under the rug of rock n roll....Great song....Naz rocks
I wonder if there is a video of this concert. Looks like the mid to late 70s.

Wish the BBC would release all of their SIGHT & SOUND IN CONCERT and ROCK GOES TO COLLEGE series on to DVD so we could purchase them.
Love to see Rory Gallagher again on RGTC from late 70s..I have that taken from an old vedeo recording I did but first full track has been damaged,
