Dont sleep on Massachusetts hockey. We have the most D1 college hockey schools in the country, the third ranked Jr A league in the US, and CM, Springfield Cathedral, BC High at the High School level which isnt even close to the fantastic prep teams that i would put against most jr teams. Minnesota is possibly better. Michigan maybe, but thats it
Those are all great teams but they are not High School teams like Mount that do not recruit, they are private teams who recruit Players so it makes no sense to comepare the two. The quote RI Hockey has been compared to football in TX is a quote from a movie about RI Hockey. I play on a team that plays in their xmas touney so I have an idea of what they are all about, they are for real, maybe not the best every year like they used to be but right up there.
Hah Rhode island high school hockey is the equivalent to Texas football? Is that some sort of joke? Try the best hockey state in the country being Michigan. Every top team in the Nation for AAA and high school is from Mich. you have, Honey Baked, Little Caesars, Compuware. RI doesn't come close to the level of talent comin' out of Michigan.
@IVIaxxxxxx That's the point dumbass, its a "single" high school in RI that has produced 22 NHL players in the last 18 years. Some are currently GM's in the NHL right now. It is in a state that has less than 1 M as its population. Are you getting it now. And by the way, I remember them going to Michigan and playing some of their best High School teams and kicking their butts. They have even sent player to the Univ. of Mich. to help you win!!!
mounts an amazing team, they're absolutely amazing, with all the work and training they have done to get there they deserve to be that great and win championships like they do. great video

minnesota is a much bigger hockey state at our state tournament we have sell out's at the xcell energy center
where the wild play but that is an amazing record 26
but minnesota is the STATE OF HOCKEY
