Yes. I put both side by side along with 3 other software packages that monitor CPU temperature. They all read the same on my computer. I have a AMD X6 processor at 3.2 GHZ speed. So far it has kept my CPU cool. Edited a 1920x1080 MP4 video that was 20 minutes long. Never got over 37C.
