  • o.o mhmmm lol -drnks as he watchin n listenzzz---

  • tkd kicks are leagedarý... from a muay thai fighter

  • Only thing I learned from this video the only thing Tae Kwon Doe has worth absorbing into a fighting style is the back spin kick.

  • esse videos e muito schow msm so digo taekwondo ta na minha veia tenho apenas 12 anos eu sou faxa vermelha

  • TKD may have its effectiveness and I'm not too familiar w/ tournament rules but are guys allow to punch anywhere even if its not the face (torso, etc), they get close enough when trying to kick that a punch either straight or hook can put some of this guys down, just wondering?

  • 0:44 OWNED!!!!

  • 2:55 haha xD Spiiiiiiiiiiiiin kicks !! xD

  • very nice vid, song sucked

  • i like the end

  • This video made me cringe. Terrible fighters.

Subnormales...

  • it looks like a 2 ostriches fighting -_- sure they might hurt, but there is no defence skill here, and have u any idea how many disadvantages a kicker has against a trained all rounder. You would be dead .. but skillful anyway, just dont like it

  • es muy bueno yo soy taekwondista sinta roja muy buen video

  • 0Y 89YH98

  • man is das langweilig

  • Keyboard warriors. Take offense too easy. Learn discipline

  • vive taekwando

  • 4;47 is the real taekwondo...

  • i think that the song 03 (the battle) of gladiator is perfect for this video. thanks and excuse my pooor english

  • kicks kicks kicks and kicks... so unnecessary all it takes is a grab and a strike fight over.

  • yes, but you'd have to find a chance to perform a grab between all those kicks. The last time i checked kicks have a longer range =P

  • ah but see with one leg in the air the other is on the ground aka less stable and legs can be used for more than just kicking its called maneuvering around the target u dnt kno what techniques im thinking of and not even the art that im thinking of our grandmaster likes to keep things in the dark

  • I think Tae Kwon Do is more like Kickboxing..without the punching. Thats why I love Judo and Kung Fu

  • IRAN :D YEAAAAHH

  • el taekwondo es lo mejor del mundo

    es un arte marcial

  • TKD kicks are not only dangerous, but also promote primitive aggression. They can break your nose, and even your neck, which makes you paralyse from the neck down for the rest of your life... from being an athlet to a bum. If the opponent is ruthless, he grabs your kicking leg and knocks you down to the ground; then he holds both your legs up and gives you a kick in the crotch... give you the ultimate insult. You become a dead fighter from a live fighter ony a minute ago.

  • Muay Thai, you get kicked once and your spleen gets opened. Muay THai practicioners use to work on Banana trees while TKD practicioners practice on air.

  • You must be joking, you got your shit from some video or show you like to watch. Tae Kwon Do is known for its kicks, the ones that broke my ribs inside the hagu protectors and punctured my left lung.

And no, I didnt practice on air, I practicesed on the steel light post's outside of my dojang.

Your silly banna tree makes me laugh. If you actually do MT.

  • Steel light post? You sound more phony and more of an idiot each time you make a post.

  • It's easy to disbelief if you have never had a real master or real training.

Why is it that everytime YOU post you make yourself look more stupid?

I know some from koroyshin karate that practice on trees, I know those from other TKD places practice on cement.

Because we didn't have trees in the urban area we had we used the steel lamp posts.

It wasn't that crazy...but I can tell you have never hit anything hard.

  • sorry dude Muay Thai kicks Tae Kwon Do's ass any day in a real fight.

  • You blow smoke bubbles how much would you know about fighting?

Pshhh...comeback when you have actually have done competition, pro, or actually went into a fight...

You can swing at me, kick at me, but when it comes to the wire, Muay Thai DOES not teach you lethality...

It doesn't teach throws, submission, disarms, one hit kills nothing...

Stop watching these sport video's...and go see ACTUAL Tae Kwon Do.

Sorry dude, when it's down to the line, I win with a single hit.

  • ur a little bitch. id beat ur gay ass any day. nuff said

  • Uh oh

it doesnt help when you start saying shit to a 6,1 man who weighs 200 pounds, and is a master in the art that kills

But to add even more to your woes, I served as a MARSOC operative for the Marine Corps Wouldn't you want to know how to kill you adversery, in multiple ways with just one hit? Why not defend yourself from a knife or gun? You can be as conceded as you want, saying what wins in streets, I know what wins in war. Nuff said.

  • thats it? pussy

  • Now I can't take you seriously...

    Harsh words over the internet?

What let me guess, your a little gang bangin wigger that thinks because you jumped some freshman at your school makes you big and mighty?

I've killed men with less talk then you, and definetely smaller egos.

But wait, your some mighty boxer?

Haha nearly 3/4 of people who say that only wish they could be taught by a boxer... haha, the only pussy I see is you, I know you haven't done the things I have done.

    Nuff said.

  • ok haha seems like ur gettin worked up. smoke a bowl and chill man

  • Nah I don't smoke...

    Or drink.

    Thanks for asking though.

  • @tyoungos most martial arts can be used in a primitive aggression way, aikido, kung fu, ninjutsu and of cours eif a person learning them is retarded and aggressive, insecure, it will result in something dangerous and you dont need fuckin TKD to grab someones legs, knock you them down and kick them in the crotch wtf are u saying :) it can be done by a child in a street fight...

Great power is great responsibility :D ;)

    Peace.

  • @tyoungos Better not lose then ay!

  • @tyoungos so can soccer...

  • well that wasnt too bad, unlike the other vid i watched where they practically stared at each other for 10mins. this probably took about 50 different fights to make a clip this long, thats how slow tkd action is, i dont see the point in discouraging blocking, i think its stupid, id like to see one of these guys take on a kickboxer, these guys will probably die.

  • or how about almost anyone in the street.

  • You spout shit. Youre not a ninja. Anybody who is going to be fighting seriously isnt going to get finished with one hit. Also if the other guy knows what he is doing, it wont matter if you actually do make it in to grab him. You gotta grab him, then set up the strike, all he has to do is knee you in the chest/stomach/groin.

This is also sport TKD, not the martial art TKD. Its all about getting the hit in, not how hard it is.

If youre gonna spout shit, at least be able to back it up dumbass.

  • It is really funny how everyone is judging and bashing TKD just because of what they see from one clip. That is not what TKD is all about. In tournaments, yeah you will see guys with their guards lowered(idiotic) /raised, bouncing, kicking, no fists to the face and all that stuff. That RIGHT there is a mere portion(WTF) of the TKD style. ITF's style is another portion where you will see more stability in spars/fights with fists to faces. In the end both areas offer self defense and (next post)

  • training from the Taekwondo martial art. I will agree with 3dhelarn about the McDojo/Dojangs around where instructors will slack with their teachings in turn causing most of their students to become distinterested and quit or worse injured. Schools like those suck ass!

  • hooray

  • this is the reason why people say karate is better than tkd, its just stupid people who feel good because they can do fancy kicks and want to show them off.

  • ..not true. People who want to show them off to look good will only get their blocks knocked off like an idiot.

  • wtf, none of them were punching or blocking. The "Kwon" in Tea Keon Do means "a hand or fist to block, punch or strike". I had to take almost a month's worth of lessons for punching, blocking, and elbowing before I ever even got to lift a damn leg. And the instructor gets PISSED whenever we flail our arms when kicking like they are.

  • Same here, when we do matches and no1 punches or blocks whe gotta do like 100 push ups etc and she gets angry too XD

  • u had to spend almost a month.... i train tkd 12 years and we do hands (blocking, attacking, hand, fists) all the time...!!! what you see in this video is competing TKD which is mostly a sport (WTF based) with elements from the TKD martial art. I hate to repeat the obvious.... but TKD is a traditional martial art which also evolved into a sport... most McDojos will not prepare/train you in both because the 'DO' is not selling... but this doesnt mean that it doesnt exist!!!

  • and also... yes there is hand blocking even at this level of competing TKD but usually its not helping on avoiding loosing the point... so that is why these level atheles prefer to train speed over hands' usage!!! and yes we also get panishement for lowering or not using our arms!! ^^

  • be happy you have an instructor that cares about basics. in TKD sparring they pretty much teach you to go for points and ignore the rest, punches count small, kicks count large.

  • How amusing , TKD is basically two people heavily padded bouncing around in side on stance with no guard trying to kick each other in the head. Now that's what I call in- effective

  • This isn't TKD... certainly not real TKD

  • its part of TKD..

  • it is olympic tkd... maybe women's..

  • Amazing featherwieght legs.

  • Great fight!

  • check the nice WTF WOrld championships video on WTF TV (dartfishDOTtv/wtf)

  • The only thing that is very wrong with this is that the only time they raise their hands is when they hit a score and bullshit about it, "YEAH, I HIT YOU NYEH!:tongue out" instead of actually protecting them selves and trying to actually hit with their hands. I do know a little bit of WTF and their rules. It's scoring and hand techniques doesn't really score only kicks right? That's why they get their ass kicked when matched up with other style of Martial Arts.

  • that's funny, because real taekwondo does in fact use hand strikes, but there is no point to using their hands in a match if it doesnt count. and i dont know about you, but it looks like blocking those kicks could seriously screw up your hand, my friend broke his arm breaking a kick that wasnt near as powerful as those people

  • yeah I know I did take some TaeKwonDo classes and they thought me hand techniques. But the practice is weird during sparring we are not allowed to punch in the head, but punching do count 1 point on the body. Like I said I just can't stand what they do after hitting a point "[hands up] YEAH!", it just feel stupid for me.

  • Comment removed

  • they dont let you punch to the head because it hurts, can permanently damage your body, and because they probably aren't allowed to let you punch to the face by multiple entities (like the insurance company, government, etc.). Also in my TaeKwonDo class, we aren't supposed to hit anybody anywhere except for the upper body, chest, stomach, sides, arms, although we can tap their head (very lightly and only higher belts are allowed), all in the name of safety and it doesnt count as a point

  • I guess it's good that way that even though this is a contact sport they still try to prevent fatalities by setting these rules. But this other TKD style that I took (ATA was the first one) lets us hit anywhere, punch to the face, take downs, and others but of course except the groin and such, with control as well. So that when it actually comes into a street self defense, students know what to do. I liked it that way better.

  • we are allowed to do what we call takedown sparring (normal sparring with takedowns allowed) and with head taps (very light but fast taps on the forehead), since striking to the legs is only really helpful against boxers, and people with iron body training, but you are right , it is more realistic to allow full body range of allowed strikes for realism, and also have a few practical talks about the fact that you should not do some of the more crazy techniques in a fight

  • striking to legs against a boxer wouldn't be effective because they can still punch (unless you manage to hit them hard enough that they fall down). It would be more help to do that against somebody who kicks so their legs hurt to much to kick.

  • a boxer will have good enough reflexes to dodge, block, or even just take whatever strike you throw to their main body, they take hundreds of punches during the course of a fight to their body, but how many do they take to the knee? none, their legs are not conditioned to take as much of a punishing as the rest of their body, not to mention after kicking their knee a few times they will find it painful to move, if their knee isn't broken already

  • I´m afraid a boxer wouldn´t stand a chance against a kickboxer in an actual match, boxers don´t get trained to block low kicks - a few low kicks (or even a single one) will make sure you won't stand up for a while. I saw it today at the junior championships taekwondo in my country - one low kick (which isn't allowed in competition taekwondo I believe) and he had to be carried.

  • I've been kicked in the leg a lot of times, and although I don't know where this kid got kicked, the only time my leg has been sufficiently injured that I actually had to stop the match was because of bad kicking form on my part. Hate to say it but competition TKD practitioners are not always the epitome of martial arts perfection, most of them wouldn't do well outside their tournaments because, just like boxing, they limit themselves to kicks, which are not hard to dodge when you know its comin

  • @terdburgalor Well the chances of being kicked right besides the knee in a TKD match are rare since it's not allowed but this kid did get kicked right there and he probably sprained his knee, at first your knee feels a bit painful and weak and after a while it'll swell and you won't be able to move it. But the traditional martial art TKD does use throws and punches right?

  • the traditional korean martial arts that TKD comes from has some throws, takedowns, a bit of grappling, and punches are harder to know because of Japan's rule of Korea. during the time Korea was ruled a lot of karate's hand movements got incorporated into the traditional martial arts. the traditional arts had some punching I imagine but to what extent I am not sure.

  • TaeKwondo as a sport is like fencing xD I'd love to take it up though - it looks cool, makes you strong and agile and it does give you self defense possibilities (experience and techniques).

  • 3:35

  • lol @ 4:47

  • 1:20 i think the guy that got hit in the head. spitted.. lol!!... plz see my vid.i just signed up.. comment rate. sub. watev. just see it plz. awesome.. btw

  • awsome sport!

  • bravo

  • whats is the name of the song?.....please.

  • Slipknot Scream

  • awwsome video love 4:13 - 4:18

  • stopping the match afer every point sucks ... and about ppl who just stand with their arms down - It's so nice to see how they get kicked in the head. I heard that with the electronic guards you have to kick a lot harder to score.

  • yeah...i tried it yesterday..there are very heavy to :P

  • Don't touch then. Hurt like you're supposed to. BTW the ref doesn't stop matches after every point, get a clue.

  • True,, if they don't scream like a girl and don't run away to jump around and be happy... so at least 10% of the time they can continue the match :D

  • It goes further than 10%, neither me nor my partners nor trainees do it. And we're just a sample.

  • im in love with taekwondo omg<3!

  • 4:19 axe kick ^^

    omg ._.4:42

  • Very cool vid

  • whats the name of the song? great vid btw

  • SLIPKNOT KICK ASS! AND SO DID THEM

  • slipknot sucks ass, motherfucker. =]

  • yeah and you can suck my balls motherfucker =]

  • did he take u up on your offer,u can tell me every thing,no just fucking around

  • yeah..they are allowed to use hands..just no face-shots..

so why punch the vest..when u can kick the face =]

  • nice video

  • 3:45 he landed that motherfucker pretty good!

  • awsome vid thanks

  • These guys are pretty sick on their feet. Its kinda stupid that they cant use punches but whatever. sick vid

  • they are sick on their feet BECAUSE they are not allowed to use hands.

  • not like boxers, so its similiar to an interdiction

  • therefore they are the best kickers. in any case. you see the sport aspect. and it is all about timming, speed, strategy and stamina. it is just a page of the book of TKD. even karate tournamnet have nothing to do with karate itself

  • right. no doubt on that, but relying on the video which is showing only the tournament tkd the context is: hands are restricted/forbidden.

i'd rather punch an enemies brain out of his head if he theratens me on street, i never would do fancy tournament tkd-jumpings.

p.s.: please dont mind my bad english

  • i can do many and really fancy jumping kicks, but yes i would not use them in the street. on the other hand i beleive that a good low round house kick is almost as good as a good punch if you can "fix" the distance. a very important aspect esspecially in tournaments is fixing distance. and TKD from medium to long distance is one of the best and most effecti martial arts.(some time in the street it is better to prove a point than win a point!!!!)

  • 4:00 cool, he just probably went to the hospital, I like when that happens

  • the wtf style of taekwondo I study focuses not only on kicks but also on punches, knee and elbow strikes even though kicks are the main focus.olymic sparring is only a small part of taekwondo.my personal experience tells me that all taekwondo kicks are useful and practical if aimed to the lower body and midsection.some of the poomsae also include low and midsection kicks.

  • Yeah man your totaly right, Your mom sucks my wondo, you little homo, Dont even know what Tae Kwon Do is, just shut your mouth before you get hurt

  • HAHAHA NICE...owned that little bitch.awesome video btw Tkd forever

  • LOL, thanks, And yeah man!! TKD fo LIFE!

  • ur a quer. are u one of those fags that thinks there wicked tough because they do bullshit UFC

  • i compete in competions all the time. last spring i broke somones arm so don't call it gay, martial art experts put their courage and bodies to the test every compition and people get hurt

  • very good pure explosive adrenalin power speed, every art has its thing, dudes...

  • The music is from stone sour or slipknot ?

  • if that its for baby sports then others its for chicken

  • awesome... this is the best video of tae kwon do fights on youtube i've watched :D im motivated so give me wednesday cause thats when we are training !! :D

  • taekwondo is not just fighting which means it can't be compared w/ other martial arts only by its usage in street fights(btw it IS useful). it's more of a self-confidence and respect. a great sports to enjoy.

  • "taekwondo" is korean for "baby sport"

  • and jpernake is Japanese for "pazy ass little bitch afraid to get his face kicked in"

  • smell donkey bawlz biatch

    its on!

  • esta super chingo ese video

  • esta perrisimo carnal t lusiste poniendo ese video

    sigue asi

  • worale esta super genial el video

  • i love the kick performance its accurate, speed just awesome like the wind

  • I do taekwondo and i broke five boards on my first try and i waz invited 2 train 4 the olympics

  • Great fights

  • esse video ta massa eu treino e pra mim foi bom ver a experiencia do mais graduado gostei do viseo nota 10

  • You just can't judge all of TKD based on this one video, since point sparring is just one facet of TKD. Specific aspects of various martial arts have been developed into sports with rules so that people can safely compete with each other and demonstrate their skill. It's simply unfair to say one martial art is worthless against another because the sport version looks funny. The TKD sparring shown here takes incredible timing, speed and power, as does Olympic Judo and other sports.

  • thank you. I do taekwondo and ppl say it is one of the weak martial arts. I can honsetly beat up ppl now ( not that i would because that goes against everything i stand for) taekwondo unlike karate is strictly self defense and not attacking ppl

  • Awesome vid!

  • Slipknot ftw!!!

  • the thing thats so bad with taekwondo is that they got no guard what so ever, just open for a knockout. sweet kicks tho

  • dude this is olympic tkd there is gaurds in traditional tkd but in olymic there is no point cuase the 1st move is also your last move ;)

  • you catch a stupid ass lil gangsta' wanna be with one of these kicks they out like a candle!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • TAEKWONDO

  • that is really awesome fighters

  • the only reason they are kicking like this is in this tounament, kicking keeps ur opponent away from u so hand strikes cannot be used its a cheap but effective strategy in a tourny

  • in response to flippy 2013 we stage things in practice to ready ourselves for real combat it is to hone our teqniques many a school never even set foot in a tournament and we do more than kick we are known for our powerfull kisks but i seldom kick in a fight kicks are used sparingly wat can a street brawler do that i cannot? i can do wat they can and more because i have dedicated years to learning combat and typical fighting sry but movies and tournaments have screwed martial arts

  • response to Kir0880, TaeKwonDo isn't every day fighting, I mean, sure, you can use the kicks in some fights, but all the other stuff is staged, so you can't really use it in real life, and yes its a point competition, you hit, get hurt, get a point, all that good stuff. I'm in it, I have a competition tomorrow, I have to wake up hella early, like, 6 o'clock to go to a 12 o'clock torniment. suckyish, If I do say so myself. ttyl, and get it right,Gidiots. God.

  • if you try to block a tkd kick yopu era going to get broken fingers i'm telling you because it happen at the school in wich i trainit was very impresive so you don't tha's why you dont block with your hands i also train kung fu and it's very cool too

  • in response to emeraldj13 this isnt practical as this is a point compitition but tae kwon do itself is a practical way of fighting in an everday situation a trained person can over take a person who doesnt know the subtleties of combat

  • Why is it all about differences? Does boxing allow leg kicks? NO! Taekwondo IS what it IS..GET OVER IT! It's not practical, it's not meant to be. IT'S A SPOOOOOOORT.

  • whats the name of the song?

  • I am shotokan karate student and in my opinion they should defend yourself with their hands too. I mean they don't use hands at all and sometimes they could block the kick by their hands...

  • Exelent video. Tae Kwon Do olimpic sport to the max. I would like to see more of this on TV when the olimpics go on.

  • this is dumb, all there doing is kicking, if they faced someone with jujitsu training they would be screwed. tae kwon do doesnt teach any grappling

  • It is not Diving, Jujitsu, Grapling, Swiming, or soccer; It is Tae Kwon Do and that is what You see. Tae Kwon Do. EVEN LOVE CAN BE BAD IF YOU DO NOT APPRIECIATE IT.

  • akido is better

  • And if someone with Jujitsu training went up against me and my 357 they would be screwed.. What's your point? Tae Kwon Do was designed to fight other people using Tae Kwon Do as a sport. Your comment is redundant.

  • bir taekwondocu olarak söylüyorum video süper olmuş

  • brutal desde nicaragua the tkd is life hjvs

  • yo sii jajaj alto video loco se pasa en bueno =D

  • owned
