its the same episode, but its different. like, the script is exactly the same but theyve changed things around.. like, here the house where the lady is, in the one i found, its in a different house and its all differnet camera angles.

@LoveItLikeX This is just a pilot. Never aired. Before a TV show is signed on, they need to show a test episode to executives. Then, if it's good, they get to film the show for real. This is more or less like a dress rehearsal.

I personally think it was great they showed this to the public. They could have just kept the good and changed the bad. But instead they show us how they've changed it and I think it really shows how much the acts and writers care about every detail of what they are showing us and more importantly willing to say you cant always get it right first time.

@kikyohater411 To the girldfriend question he made the effort to develop his answer a little bit (i.e. he used a longer sentence). To the boyfriend question he has used an empathic 'no'. That implies the second negation is more categorical.

But anyways I think that the scriptwriters pretended to leave the answer open to the spectator's imagination.

I enjoyed this more than I think I would have enjoyed Guy Ritchies "interpretation" had I bothered to watch it.

The trailers told me all I needed to know, save my money and skip the cinema.

The only negative critique I have for the new bbc Holmes is that the original Holmes was intelligent enough not to be rude and could be charming in any strata of society.

This updated Holmes has the same affliction most modern fictional characters have.The writers have replaced their charm with attitude.

His hair is different. It makes his face is persona more accesible. Although I do have personal preference for this version, the aired version better fits the Holmes persona of being closed and shuttered. Not open as this unaired hair cut invites.
