I think Halca does a good job with this song - she brings different emotion to it than Maki did.

In my opinion, HALCA, although a decently strong vocalist, doesn't make a good fit for this song simply b/c her vocals are not as "Pop-ish" as Maki's. She fails to hit those high notes as well.

As for stage presence, Maki was a lot of fun. I remember those days of her hopping around the stage. haha. <3 She really was a ball of energy!

but to be honest Halca has a more powerful voice than makii (i favor halca strongly) although some songs doesn't suit halca.. but halca is halca and makii is makii the only person you can't replace in HAMC is Yuuske and mackaz (coz mackaz is my fave XD) ,v,,

@EoTMagni I don't think Halca lacks of energy..I just think she was nervous because she's not used to it. she doesn't have the experience that Maki has. Also, she has to deal with the fact that everyone expects her to be as good as Maki so I think she looked more like she was focusing. If she had more time she would have been a really good performer because she already is.

Ok this is my all time favourite HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR song and Halca has ciompltely ruined it for me, her voice doesn't suit old H&MC songs and im so angy they didn't do how they did with ACDC and not play old music with a new singer.

Her voice sounds terrible for this song, whether shes tired after a large concert or not, its so flat, dull and not hiugh enough compared to OVER with Makii, im dissapointed in her and im kinda glad they are disbanding

OK, look, I like both Maki and Halca... But Halca's vocals directly clash with Yuusuke's. See, Halca's vocals are lower-pitch, but also also significantly clearer. Yuusuke... Sounds like he has a vocal style influenced by Zack De La Rocha, his vocal tone is fairly gritty. It's not about the vocalist per se, it's about how a band functions as a group. don't get me wrong, i LOVE the new H&MC, but I'm used to hearing Maki's slightly-less-than-perfect vocals.

Maki was one of the best female rock performers I've ever seen. The reason is that, for pumping up a crowd, female perfomers are often at their best when they dance around like Madonna, Beyonce. Maki was actually like having Namie Amuro front a rock band (a good combination). But Halca is a real metal singer and women rock singers are usually more stiff like kiddie punk singer Avril Lavigne. Maybe it's the too cool rock attitude or maybe they literally dont feel like moving around.

Nevertheless i also don't think that people should compare her with Maki. They're totally different when we match their voices. Maki's voice had a disarming quality to it that lent this band mystery - they are heavy, and melodic for it, and Maki's voice, so oddly playful at turns, made it hard to really pin the band to any category, which I really appreciated about them. I admit that Halca is good at the technicalities of singing - she belts the notes rather effortlessly, but she, and the way she looks, just plays too neatly into the hard rock image. I wish she were less stiff too.

Although this is still good, I prefer Maki for this song. In the part where they sing 'High and mighty ryuu de!' (2:30), they changed how they sung it since Halca's voice is too deep to sing like how Maki used to, and it sounds kinda weird for me. But the rest is just fine though.
