You're video is called Dachshund (Dog Training) and yet you don't cover training them ONE bit, it's just a load of pictures. You REALLY ought to change the title of your video, for the people on here looking for actual videos on how to train their dachshunds.

He had the most beautifulest disposition. unfortunatley someone snuck poison in his kennel, and i found him dead nov 3rd 10. I miss him.

@Creekangler19 They certainly are bad as fuck and I had one and that is exactly what I loved most about him. I used to tell all my friends and they agreed that he was the WORST dog they had ever seen. His smartass attitude is the thing I loved soooooooooo much about him. It was so cute.

What did you do to get your dog to do that? We've got a great dachshund and he's really smart, he can do lots of tricks, but he's a little bit dumb on the housebreaking. Any ideas?

Yeah they are pretty smart. I don't need a leash to walk my dog. But I don't suggest you try this if you know what you are doing. here's a tip: take your dog out when you are available during the afternoon. Walk your dog every night before you are about to go to bed. In the morning he/she will definitely want to go out for #1 and/or #2. That is my routine. O yeah and teach your dog the "NO" command.

i trained mine to go bathroom inside on these pad things and it took about 1-2 weeks didnt take long at all but he's alos part cockerspeinal
