  • omg mke up your mind "booklet" or "netbook"

  • i dont like because this laptop dont have extra ports and upgrading choise.other laptops compnies have good model then it. nokia is best for cell phones...

  • Two disadvantages:

    1. It's SLOW.

    2. No VGA Port.

  • this the bookllet which suits.

  • Price?

  • Si this isn't 3G ready?

  • This thing is hideous. Looks like a childs netbook.

  • I wish Nokia could get into computers more often. You know they would do great!

  • @Eeyoreboi

Nokia has made several different computer models.. This is the latest of them

  • Selling mine for 550$! Contact me of u wanna buy! Also putting shipping cost!

  • finnish tecnology!!!!!! :D

  • Not best but good

  • What is the price?

  • I bought one, with a 64gig flash drive and windows 7 home, and damn is it slow. Useless for anything but word processing. Can barely play YouTube or netflix. And why the hd video out? When it can't play YouTube?

Don't get me wrong, I wanted a writing machine and it is perfect for that, but not for much else.

  • the trackpad is very bad

  • so bassically an overpriced netbook , i don't see the point £700 for it or, £199 for a standard netbook

  • Nice design but the laptop is slow as hell.. And uppgrading the Ram is almost impossible to do, so its not worth the price....

  • It's so old looking :/

  • Can you Install additional Ram on the Booklet? It's really beautiful, but the Hard Disc is a bit low and it has only 1gb or ram. The installed 1 gb ram is soldered down, can you add more to it somehow?

  • Nokia's got one weakness: They don't have this one amazing frontman like Steve Ballmer from Microsoft, who sells the product to the audience even if they don't want to :D

  • what? nokia bucket?

  • question: what's the capacity of this netbook? Is it really 1GB? Thanks

  • @ferdo621 1GB is the memory.

  • @davomrmac Thanks! So it has 1GB of ram and also 1GB of storage?

  • @ferdo621 No 1GB RAM, the hard drive is 120GB.

  • @davomrmac Now it makes sense haha. Thanks

  • Crysis would run great on this....not.

  • which one is better? this or toshiba ?

  • @annamaria771018 Which Toshiba.

  • @annamaria771018 toshiba is horrible. End of story. Horrid company.

  • every time someone says bit of kit i think cars thanks to top gear

  • @nameis12396 :)

  • t is still not available in india...WTF!!!!?

  • nokia should have added a vga for any people like me who doesnt have an hdmi input tv. wished they did it

  • i went into nokia's FLAGSHIP store today in hk and asked to see this fine looking machine. guess what? they only sell mobile fones. i laughed, shook my head and walked straight out of there. a couple of days before i had been in an apple store in shenzhen and i could have bought any of their products from a desktop to a shuffle. this is why nokia will fail. fucking idiots.

  • i almost bought that but i make my vids with my dell inspiron 1440 but i wish i bought that mine isnt sexy anymore the back of my laptops cover is damaged but i want to know if there is remover and other things but every time i send it in they dont fix any of my other problems

  • here in hong kong it's 4000 hkd. my wife needs mobile internet for skyping with me. don''t know whether to get her this or the more expensive dell streak. anyone with experience of either?

  • Where is the fan?

  • @niki89m This does not have one. In fact most netbooks do not have fans.

  • @niki89m i am a fan of this netbook. does this count? ;-p

  • now i know what wifi is....but what about 3G on a laptop? does this mean it can access internet from anywhere in the world by using satellite internet??

  • @jellofast No, access is with a sim card via the cellular network.

  • better off putting 200$ more to get an alienware m11x

  • Some tech specs on this device?

  • This was a fathers day gift and I love it. It is powerful enough for a netbook. The battery life is amazing. Build quality is great and seems like a great image book>

  • i found these for only 200 bucks. should i buy one??

  • @ilovemaryam08 I would at that price. Where?

  • @davomrmac @ cowboom, com the site claims to be a bestbuy company. just for kicks i was searching on google products for a booklet 3g and i say their site. yep they have refurbished and pre-owned for the low(215-ish). they have a bunch of good deals. will this netbook fulfill my general computing needs. which consists of browsing mainly. ready blogs. a ton of flash video(youtube) ect ect. can it handle .mkv files at 720p??? i need to be able to watch at least 720p. and what about HD flash vids?

  • @ilovemaryam08 That is a v.good price. It struggles a little sometimes with HD video files.

  • @ilovemaryam08

is there a sim card slot for this netbook?

  • @hlimkb Yes.

  • I just want to ask if this is available in all countries?

  • @almanac42 It should be available in most. Try the Nokia website for your country.

  • What's really nice about the net book is that this one docent need an extra battery on it to make it ugly

  • @Bananas138 Thanks for your comment.

  • i am watching this on an 1 month old black nokia booklet, the build quality is very good, the keyboard an battery are exceptional, running win7 starter edition is not good though. As long if you have some pacience, and don`t make the netbook to multitask too much,is ok,but is hard to get used to it,because is so underpowered,i only use it just to read online, check my mails, some youtube, preferably not in HD because is slow, and watch some movies .If you want more, its not for you.

  • @SIRavecavec Great comment.

  • looks really nice, thinking of buying this instead of macbook air.

  • Great review! Very clear, informative, great infos and good video. Like your personal opinion about the finish and kb. It looks great, but too bad it is underpowered, can we upgrade the RAM perhaps? Thank you.

  • d+!!1

  • Windows 7? It's a 2.2 rating. Clearly the hardware is struggling just to run windows.

Nokia, put your OWN software on it Nokia, give it Meego! After all, you're developing it for your phones (or are you? You don't exactly say...) And while you're there, give it another GB of RAM, a decent processor, and give it USB 3.0 and a MicroSD slot as well...then you'll probably have something *COMPETITIVE*...until then, watch this product sit on the shelves doing nothing. Price point alone won't save you!

  • @BrEnNo1023 Great comment, thanks for adding this.

  • @davomrmac yeah, funny thing is...I'd still buy this over a mac though. Really don't like the restrictions apple puts on its products...and its customers...

  • @BrEnNo1023 Yes, it is even getting annoying for an Apple fanboy like me.

  • 12 hrs of battery

  • i love how people from the uk say aluminum funny

  • @paulmichaelhardy239 you mean the proper way? ;)

  • nokia is always great at quality!

  • nokia should put an ethernet port and a more powerful processor on this baby and I'm buying this thing...

  • @tambis23 Great comment. Thnx.

  • could you please tell me what's the video capacity, and the processor? (how many GBs) thx. oh and how many RAMs

  • Who would get this over the Asus EEE pc 1005PR? And why?

  • @myfuckingcookies Nothing performance-wise, just better build quality.

  • no wifi and microphone port? my toshiba nb-100 is better!

  • @MotweraCity lol.

  • @MotweraCity

    it does have WIfi

  • can i jam any sim with an unlimited 3g package in there? im on Tmobile and most devises only work with AT&T

  • guys can anyone help me ? , is this pc a phone too?

  • @MrPunisher11 Nope, uses 3G to connect to the internet.

  • @davomrmac thnx man

  • @MrPunisher11 It can be

  • pretty nice that you pronounce nokia correctly, heh

  • 'morning, sir mac. we're planning to buy a booklet 3g. in fact, when we came up with the decision, i immediately viewed your channel and looked for this video to comment.. i just have some questions, sice im a total ignorant with regards to this unit. can you make calls or send instant sms using it? and what are the problems that's really gonna bother me? i'd appreciate it if you'll respond. thanks! how much does it costs right now btw. sorry, not sure if my first comment went in.

  • @xxFeyTTyeFxx You cannot make calls, you can surf the Internet though and with the correct app or service it should be possible to send SMS. You would need a data plan too though. Problems, well e only one is not to expect to play games on it, or have more than a few apps running at any one time, it'll slow down a lot.

  • @davomrmac hmn... the issue about gaming is highly understandable. it does costs much though. if i am to buy one of those regular notebooks of the same specs and just attach a wifi device, would that be a more practical alternative? what do u think? all i really want is for me and my fiance to talk over ym. you see, we're very far apart and we could really use some help.

  • @xxFeyTTyeFxx With the Nokia you are paying a premium for the build quality. You could buy just the same spec in another netbook and save a lot of money. Maybe look at the Samsung range and the Asus Eee PC, that might be an option for you.

  • @davomrmac thanks, man. i'll go check them out. btw, would you be so kind to mention their price just so i can be sure if i can really afford any of them. thanks.

  • @xxFeyTTyeFxx Both the Samsung and Eee PC range start at the £200-£300 mark.

  • @davomrmac wow... those sound pretty affordable for a brand new notebook just compare to other laptops that i see in stores... i'll go check'em out now. again, thanks.

  • @davomrmac i did check on Asus Eee PC. the specs are a little low but if ym works perfectly fine then it's all good. is it? cant find the samsung range btw.

  • @xxFeyTTyeFxx Something like the N210 or N510 I was thinking. They are on the Samsung website.

  • I WANT ONE!

  • Great rewiew!!!

  • @ronalderik Cheers.

  • Nice review! really nice netbook... tho a little bit pricey for the consumer market.

  • i smell a law suit with Nokia and Apple

  • Right, Im with iDeufi, Ill prefer my macbook pro

  • internet cable is missing~ lolx

  • @keal5528 by now people shouldnt be using those anymore

  • @keal5528 -.- you get internet cable when you buy a fucking internet connection

  • Apple should do something like this

  • @CarterMacProx but they'll wait til there's a much more powerful processor so they can charge a buttload for it too :P

  • @CarterMacProx iPad?

  • @CarterMacProx ipad...

  • like macbook design

  • Very Nice Video

  • Thanks.

  • I'm sorry, but I REALLY have no idea why is this so "superb"

My MacBook is way more superior.

  • @iDeufi well its true!!!!!!!!!

  • wow it's a gorgeous design

  • what window 7 is running?

  • @ferrari24680 Windows 7 Starter.

  • What an excellent netbook! The build quality and design look amazing!

    Nice video Dave.

  • love it but £700 too much

  • Did you pay for this or get it for sampling purposes ?

  • Review unit.

  • Now days company's never reply to my emails.

  • how the hell can they justify charging $400 US which is ok, but then £800 over here. That's a joke and can build yourself a quality gaming machine for that price- and even a laptop that will smash the specs in comparison. Looks a good product but more style than substance for me.

  • well they are apple wannabe sell overpriced laptops

  • Excuse me, they are not. Apple didn't invent the, "When you sell a laptop, you must sell a cellphone too."

  • mac ftw

  • this netbook is really very sleek and beautiful n definitely better than mine! thanks for the accurate review. i like the fact that u go down to almost every details of a device all the time

  • Wait a sec here. I thought when you said £700 you had made a mistake, but no, I checked and you can't get it for under £650. Unless there is some amazing feature you forgot to mention, that is a rip off price. I have a very nice build quality, 10.1" eee pc with a chiclet keyboard, atom processor and 1gb ram and 120gb hard drive. It was under £300. How can Nokia justify that ridiculous price. You can buy a full size laptop for less. I'm in shock.

  • Yes, you are paying a big premium for the build quality.

  • @ RobinScott93 -

It has a 16 cell battery, though. Comparing that to the usual 4 cell laptop batteries and you can start to see why they are charging a bit extra. Might have been worth mentioning in the review though i suppose.
