  • I want the pixies to write one last song

  • @elementsk8rbillly911 Bam Thwok

  • That was fucking amazing!!

    LOVE the pixies :D

  • Best Pixies song ever, I love the lyrics and the way Frank sings, one of the best voices in music.

  • lol old

  • everyone should watch their documentary...they are really not inspired or in loving any of this...they tour in different vehicles the drummer is an alcoholic and no one talks to each other outside of shows... Kim's sister travels with Kim and she is completely off her rocker from their Breeders days...its really a sad existence...none of them want this...Black Francis wants his solo career to work out so he can get the fuck out of The Pixies...sorry to burst your bubble

    dont kill the messenger

  • @lurchxXx Sad but true, you just described a majority of bands who are not actively releasing albums as a band, but are playing "nostalgia" shows to make a living. It's a formula that has worked for decades. The musicians involved who may have had problems in the past always "magically" find a way to get along enough to tour and make money. Like Van Halen, Genesis, Styx, Foreigner, etc....

  • 1 person is a real douche

  • I really love this band. You can generally tell they enjoy playing. Kim's smile when the guitar pace picks up, you can tell she's loving every minute of playing. That's what music is all about. The love.

  • they had a great set list for this! i just wish they did an acoustic version of i bleed

  • @omedicius i bleed is on the official dvd of this concert LOL

  • @monkeygonetoheavensi then i need that dvd =O

  • This song kinda sounds like Radiohead...Is there one of their inspiration? (Inspiration for Radiohead, ok course) Well, great song, by an awesome band!

  • @sampik2003 Probably it is. Pixies influenced a lot of musicians, I think.

  • back to basics wood and string and poets

  • The Pixies really did an amazing job with the acoustic translation of "Caribou". The only part I miss is the high-pitched feedback squelch coming from an electric guitar during the intro to the song.

  • i like how he says "charibou" sometimes, and "caribou" other times

  • Joey Santiago is easily my favourite guitarist. I love this song, especially as it speeds up towards the end. There's a brilliant version of this on the 2002 purple tape EP

  • Come back to Bosotn again plz we miss you already. I listen to this and it brings me back to the days of old Boston. The clubs were shit holes but they were our shit holes. Nothing like'm anywhere, because there all gone which sucks. Miss the channel and spit is where the collage yuppie kids puke on a friday night.

  • this is the best song ever fucking made.

    pixies = <3

  • REPENT!!!!!!!!! REPENT!!!!!!!!!

  • this reminds me of jack black.

but I mean that in the most respectful of ways.

  • cariboooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuu

  • this is probebly one of his best vocals in this song

  • Really really really love The Pixies!!!!

  • Probably my favorite Pixies song!!! 5 stars!!!

  • they need to perform acousticly more

  • Their coming to Brisbane in March. Can't wait. Will be friggin awesome

  • Os tempos passam, a imagem muda, mais a qualidade é a mesma, vejo que eles ainda são como os de antigamente... =)

  • just what i was thinking

  • concordo :)

  • i like acoustic but electric this song is intense and puts shivers down my spine.

  • @reyrayolunar all these songs started out acoustic

  • oddly enough, I think this works!

  • Not as good acoustic but still one of the greatest bands ever.

  • What an amazing chubby guitarist! I love the pixies

  • @EricMiaow aw c'mon thats my hero you're talking about.......caribou...REPENT...REPENT

  • Awesome song...unplugged is great

  • wow, frank is doing the "ooooouuu" really bad,but he's doing the best he can, awsome band.

  • well i wouldn't say really bad, but its definently not as good as when he was in his prime (but thats understandable).

  • I think it being unplugged has a little something to do with it. Maybe he didn't want it to be very loud, and its hard to do quiet. Some of these songs were made to be noisy and crazy, as much as I LOVE Pixies (favorite band) I wouldn't enjoy an acoustic show very much.

  • Well i don't know about that. imo most of the songs sound just as good (not the same but equal quality) and The Holiday Song actually sounded better to me.

Plugged unplugged The Pixies are still aweseom, i hope they will get back together (probably won't but hey, a guy can dream.)

  • What are you talking about? He sounds just fine.

  • That was an amazing performance. Cheers.

  • dont hate yourself

  • a bit out of synch
