I learned of St Gerard only 4 months ago. I wear his medal at all times. I feel that he has interceded for me,not as an expectant mother,but in a general kind of way.

i and my sister were named before this great saint...

i as gerard and my sis as majella.

that's because my mother had a novena in his honor when she has difficulty having a child. so after 4 still births and diffult pregnancy i was eventually was born (the 5th) and my sis (6th)
