hey!!! is this amp REALLY LOUUUD enough when it comes to play along with drums and bass??? Yup. Believe it or not, many of your favorite songs were probably recorded on a 30w. When mic'd properly they actually have a cleaner, more "recordable" sound. I can't say for sure about a 15w, but that's what I practice with, and we mic it for jam sessions sometimes and it sounds great.

Heres a run down for you guys (trying to keep more of u from wasting ur money on a Line 6 Spider)

Spider 75w- $299 from zZsound

Peavey Bandit 80w- $384 from zZsound

Now, one sounds like complete ass, and the other is a nice little amp. The Bandit for $84 more is sooo much better then a Line 6 Spider. I wouldn't even pay $50 for a Line 6 Spider. If you guys are gonna get any amp, Get a Peavey Bandit, or a Randall RX75RG2, Hell you could even get a used Roland VGA-5. So guys, shop around

And If you listen to the quality of the amp, my 25 watt peavey trans tube sounds better. This amp tries to hide its shitty sound behind all the bells and whistles so it tricks some newer players (sometime older players, eesh) into buying them. But the truth is, the sound quality is garbage and for the price you pay, u can get WAY better.

dave mustaine uses a line 6 head, he even has his own signiture amp head, but is not released to the public. its just a matter of preference, its called versatility with price, thats why they put so much effects on it. dont go hating when you dont even know what you're talking about.

mainly cuz im broke and i only had a crate 15watt practice amp XD

my fave setting is red insane with all the eq at max (drive, bass, mid, treb, chan volume) give it a really good distortion for me....cuz i usually play children of bodom and a lil trivium.....hope this helps a lil with tone

also....take any of the settings and tweak it to your liking =D! (thats what i did)

i'd recommend you save up for a decent marshall or peavey amp and a seperate effects pedal but i'd still recommend one of these for functionability as you get loads of features for your money and a pretty good quality amp.ebay is probably where you'll get one the cheapest!

yea i got this same 75 watt amp as the guy in the video and i got it for 300 bucks on ebay. i think that these amps sound great and even though they can sound somewhat like a marshall on a couple of the tone knob things they also can sound like other amps too. plus its got a crap load of effects that you can use i think it said like up to 250 combinations or soemthing

yo man ive always owned line 6spiders, ive had the spider 1, spider 2, spider 3 and now finally i have the spider valve, spider 3 is as close as it gets but the spider valve (bogner tubes) destroys shit!! its 50 watts but since its tubed it produces like alot more then that so it drowns out my guitarists half stack 150 watt

you shuld seriously look into the Spider Valve series for your next amp!

what guitar are you using? i hear some feed back. i have the same amp and i use an ibanez rg370dx and have absolutely no feedback unless i use my middle pickup but i never do so it doesnt matter but nice playing
