I agree that there's an increased tendency among misogynists to jump onto sexualised insults, but in any case Katie was clearly a horrible person. I think Sarah Silverman put it best when interviewed by Bill Maher, and on the issue of people branding themselves as 'divas', said, "You're not a diva. I'm pretty sure you're a cunt." Some people think they should be as rude and selfish as they please, so long as 'Sisters Are Doin' it For Themselves' plays in the background.

The vulnerable woman vs. confident man point can be overstated. Nobody envies current twat, Stuart Baggs, a bullish, unprincipled, over-confident slime. But the young guy who left for his hospitalised soldier brother, garners our respect cos he was a more sensitive, caring kind. Conversely, we respect quietly tough, straight-talking, industrious Stella, who doesn't make gender an issue, and just let's the silly little boys expose themselves. Karren Brady's another example.

You're Fired is like a cleansing session for fired candidates. Its an opportunity for candidates to come across as more likeable in real life. this is true of Katie. She comes across nicer here than in the series.

She is an absolute dog. She tried to come across a bit charming in this interview, but we saw who she really was when the cameras were following her 24 hours a day. A snobby, conniving, arrogant prat. But even worse than all of this, she wasn't even that good. Yes she was a decent seller, but not on as good as Christina, and she lost a number of tasks with poor planning and failing to identify the key issues for success. Surprised she got that far on her performance alone. She's a nicompoop!
