  • thank you mr. xembryo.....

  • @nebbiolo68

    You're welcome

  • Brilliant forgot about this album off to the HUT.

  • Saw this tour at Stafford bingley hall fantastic! In reply to topic Torme or Gers? Torme all day long!

Now as GMT with John Mccoy & Robin Guy on drums they did a charity gig in my town Fleetwood,Lancs. Got chance to meet & chat, really great guys, only me & John with bald heads among a sea of long hair! Bernie shook my hand at the end & gave me his plectrum, in my mind a magic moment after seeing them all those years back.

  • The Video is not from this live version!

    Great song!!!!!!!

  • Is the song cut at 2:34 ?

  • o.O...Wow...this song is really awesome...

  • Best EVER rock singer...fact

  • has anyone got "second sight" available as the opening of the concert for the "Mr Universe" tour" i can tell you that was some opening

  • standing to the test of time, truly a God amongst men

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My 1st choice to play on my funeral:)

not that i hope to die very soon:P

  • Ex Embryo re your description, I think Mr G is a searcher of the truth as some of us are, including yourself, but I don't think he has pitched his tent yet. It may be a life long and beyond journey. I believe he is ahead of me in the journey and we may not end up at the same place don't know. Doubt if all three of us will pitch together anyway but maybe end up there regardless of direction. Tim Rice wrote the JCSS lyrics I believe not IG.

  • He is here too sexy!!!! :)))

  • who is the guitarrist?

  • Bernie Thomé, an irish guitarrist. Good player.

  • The best butt ever!!!!! :)))))

  • :)))))

  • Awesome song brings back memories. Bernie Torme or Janick Gers?

  • Bernie Tormé

  • @vic8880 BT on guitar. Brings back memories 4 me too!

  • Beautiful song. Nice melodies, heavy ambient and powerful vocals. Ian Gillan is the best voice of heavy rock. Versatile, dynamic, intense, roughly, tecnical.

  • A great singer. The best.

  • This takes me back. IGB was my first gig at the glasgow apollo, back in a long time ago. Thry've pulled it down, or turned it into a bongo hall. Great shame, it was a fantastic venue

  • wait a minute! this is not the mr. universe of episode six! i mean, both of them had gillan singing, but this one has just the same title as that of episode six, but music and lyrics completely different!

  • You're right: in a way, 'Mr. Universe' of Episode Six is the forerunner of this song

  • it is becoming like the unforgiven series of metallica! seriously!

  • Great!!!!

  • SUPERB!!!!!!!!1

  • i mean, dude! that's a scream that is....

  • Great song!!!!!

  • Wow you can hear his Deep Purple influences here.

All his albums especially Glory road were masterpieces.

  • mr. colin towns on keyboards

  • It's so emotional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THAT VOICE!! THAT VOICE!!! What a timeless and amazing voice.

  • are you god ? are you man? do you live in fear... what fvcking great lyrics !

  • The power of both voice and lyrics is just overwhelming...

  • just...magic..

  • Voice = Superhuman

Guitar = Art form of it's very own

    These guys are really incredible.

  • Ian Gillan in his Best here with this beautiful Song!!!!

    Great lyrics too...

  • a fucking awsome song want more like this

  • This is song is perfect with lyrics too..

Ian Gillan is The Best Singer Ever in Galaxy!!!!

  • badvideo23 is shooting his mouth off. Never heard this before

  • This Song is Great!!!!!

  • This is one of the many reasons why Ian Gillan is my idol/hero.

  • I love you Ian Gillan so much, your music is All My Life that I got....

  • the power is the lyrics and the voice ist just overwhelming

  • What a track! Love you mr. Gillan...

  • Amazing song and lyric from Ian Gillan the best singer in the whole galaxy system...

  • One of my favourite all time albums. Sorry, got to change channels, Paul Rogers and Queen. Doesn't feel right. Love Free and Bad Company. Freddie was the best ever front man so I can't stand what's happening at the Mandela 90 concert. Cynical?

  • Wow, this is a blast from my past. Gillan was my first live concert and they were awesome - saw them three more times and they got better and better. Pity Ian sold out and joined Sabbath and a past it's sell date Purple

  • Thanks for sharing one of my favorite song,Ian is amazing here too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Peace and unconditional love........

  • Saw this most brilliant band and the supreme vocalist at the Rainbow Theatre in 1977. Ian and entourage came into pub accross the road from the theatre for a pint whilst a group of us were having a drink there. I raced accross to the theatre and bought a programme, raced back, borrowed a pencil and got Ians then girlfriend to get the great mans autograph for me. He is supreme.

  • This song stands on its own and Blackmore never could've played this song like Bernie Tormé, because Tormé used to play Punk music.

Both Tormé and Blackmore are influenced by Jimi Hendrix

  • one of gillans best

  • Happy holidays to everybody, especially to Ian Gillan, and those who played this song here...

  • Nice job lining up the studio track with the Oxford gig. This was a great band and B.T. remains today as still one of my guitar heroes.

  • The studio track is superb

  • well.. i would have preferred a longer living Mk II over this

i mean really no offense, Gillan my hero... but that guitar player is an amateur, almost embarassing compared to Blackmore (same goes for this keyboard/organ player compared to Jon Lord)

  • Deep Purple never would have produced a song like this

  • amateur? bernie torme is awesome. he has a unique style and makes that guitar sing. sure ritchie blackmore is good. who can question the man behind the solo to child in time, but come on. he was so far up his own ass

  • doesnt matter to me, i dont mind his character

  • Solid!

  • One of the greatest rock and roll voices of our time(maybe only Freddie Mercury could rival him). Gillan is truly out of this world. Saw him w/ DP recently in Orlando-still amazing.

  • This is really fucking great.. I just discovered this music today, but it's even better then Deep Purple, I think.

  • great band gillan was superb so was john mc coy

  • Amazing....... what a incredible voice

  • thank you Ian...

  • another fine vid. dude, it just plain rocks the hell out of me, thanks so much for the vids man, where do u get all of these vids?

  • Thanks.

This video is a remake of the live version of this song: being creative with Movie Maker and other software

  • gillan is the man hu can sing

  • superb..indeed
