Intanto, la pronuncia delle parole è grottesca (0:38 :"nOcqui all'affanno"), per fare l'agilità digrigna i denti ed emette suoni striduli e schiacciati, musicalmente è approssimativa, i gravi sono enfi, caricaturali, gli acuti quando non sono gridati sono miagolati, ed il centro è vuoto. Non c'è legato, non c'è slancio, non c'è accento. Alla fine arranca perché non ha più fiato. Una prova a dir poco imbarazzante.
she sounds very worn here. either shes gone through some vocal troubles or it was an off night. theres a roberto devereux with nelly mircioiu as the lead, and ganassi sounds very good in that production. healthier voiced and intense.

INTOLLERABILE IL SOLITO REGISTA IDIOTA CHE CREA INUTILI AZIONI IN MOMENTI IN CUI TUTTA L'ATTENZIONE DEVE ESSERE FOCALIZZATA IN UN SOLO PUNTO, come quella cretinata dei fazzoletti mentre lei canta. E' una azione che disturba (primo anno di accademia!), inutile e sciocca, roba da guitti che fanno dispetti al collega! al limite si può spostare quando il coro ha il suo attacco!

She has a substantial voice, but it's also heavy and effortful, almost "matronly". One doesn't feel (or see) that she's truly enjoying, or even comfortable with, singing all the requisite coloratura.

Lucia was absolutely amazing. I saw her as Isabella and it was one of the best experiences I had at the opera.
