The trick is to take pride in your miserable vehicle. I had this really beaten minivan for my first car. Called it the Ghetto Bus. Even wrote about it in the school paper. Gained tons of popularity for it. Friends liked riding in it. Got to tell dates "get in the van, I have candy." All it was was one win after another. Then an old guy hit me and paid me 3k not to go to insurance, and I bought a nice one. I enjoyed what God gave me, and then I received more from Him.
