hey, I waxed my car with a carnuba paste but being a noob i got some on the plastics and crevices of the vehicle. I tried removing the wax from those areas but its hard to reach. Even a few jet washes still leaves some residue behind. Can someone tell me how to remove this?

lots of tire cleaners willl warn you NOT to get on painted or anodized metal surfaces...I neglected to do this and ruined my aluminum finish on my wheels :(

This is a tutorial, whether the wheel is dirty or not isn't the issue. Its not a testimonial on a product's effectiveness. Its simply instructional. Does the Red Cross train you on CPR with an actual unconscious person? No they use a dummy.

@aminuk23 Wheel cleaner will typically leave a buildup of stubborn brake dust, not as much on Chrome wheels as they clean up easy, but on aluminum wheels you need a little elbow grease to get them completely clean

Why not invest in some pro wheel cleaning brushes? Meguiars makes some basic brushes and snake-like devices that will fit in between the spokes. Better yet, I remove the wheels for my clients so I can access the back side of the rim and the brake caliper which often is very visible with 18"s.

no way iv used a very light degreaser on my aluminums and it works better than a wheel cleaner

or just use carb cleaner for those wheels, or gasoline/diesel

I normally wash my rims/tires before I wash the car. This way you don't get brake dust or dirt on a freshly washed car.
