WoW still is an MMO. It hasn't stopped.

Secondly, just because of a system that implements real work money does not make it a bad game. It makes even more sense for an rpg because it works for team fortress 2. It still looks like fun either way.

@KUP1ZZA i agree with you in all ways but i don't know about diablo 3 with the paid auction house i have a hard time having an auction house in diablo 3 in the first place it doesn't feel like a diablo thing (having clocked 100's maybe even 1000+ hours into diablo 2) the idea of diablo 2 is to find look to scrummage every loot you find for that one rare loot the granted you can trade but it's much harder to trade then buy off an auction let alone paid money

a) Diablo 3 is not an MMO, WoW was.

b) Diablo 3 is a bad game due to Blizzard's terrible decisions (ie real money auction house)

c) TotalBiscuit is more interested in Torchlight 2.

Diablo 1 and 2 were a balance of creating a nice game and making money. Wow and diablo 3 are too much about the money and not about the quality. Just know that the best PC ever will never be made better and will be good memories. This new team blizzard has does not fucking get it and they dont deserve to be called blizzard so they might has well make NEW games with NEW names. WOW does not deserve to have warcraft in it's name and diablo 3 does not deserve diablo in it's name.

@bezoro2008 Path of Exile was already in development before Diablo 3 got announced, so it's not inspired by D3 but rather the "good old" Diablo 1 & 2.

Both games are MMO style in the sense of always online & can play with other people(but there's still many different things on both games).

And yeah one is indie one is not, that doesn't mean you can't put them against each other, since there are times indie games will be better then AAA games(eg. Minecraft).

Give PoE some time and it will shine.
