Can you imagine what our brains would be like if we only had noise, and no music? We'd be nuts. We'd hear rhythm in pretty much everything if we grew up exposed to noise instead of harmonies and melodies. Not that noise isn't music/rhythmic, but you know what i mean.
@Matthew1242 Ummm you do know that people who are into noise are exactly like that even with the amount of music around. Im like that. And this is my kinda stuff here. I hear the music in it.
@Hentaifreak50 Yes, it's human nature to seek patterns in the things we see, hear, etc. I'm saying, we grow up hearing so much shit in 4/4 that we become less skillful and imaginative at listening for patterns because we compare everything to our 4/4 standard.
