Don't even try to compare Metallica to U2 I have seen both bands live and U2 blow Metallica away live, I actually could not stay for the entire Metallica show the sound was that bad nothing was audible pounding double bass drums and loud muffled bass dominated Metallica's live sound. Two different bands yes but U2 easily is the better sounding live band, Im not saying at all that U2 are better musicians it's not about individual talent but taken on the whole perfirming live U2 is better.
