Are you serious .......are language skills slowly evolved allowing us to pass valuable info to one another and from generation to generation. This ability to communicate is what separated us from the other primate species like the neanderthal whose language capability was not as advanced.

With out the evolved ability to communicate via language. Human communities would greatly resemble family groups of chimpanzees and gorillas in terms of behavior. Struggling to survive with limited tool use.

No you are incorrect. Yes I agree with you that there are billions of people that believe in god, but more then 50% of those people believe in evolution. Why cant evolution and god both exist? It is possible. Evolution has piles of evidence that proove it exists, but there are holes in its theories. Just like god, there is some evidence that it exists, but there are holes in that theory as well. So we cant be certain can we?

And also, Orangutans can learn american sign language to communicate with humans. (I'm pretty sure chimpanzees and gorillas can too)

Not entirely true about ASL. As far as I know about studies on Chimpanzees, they could learn ASL but use it in pre-generated patterns, without actually "arranging" the signs to express new requests. This means they could only "say" a few sentences that were taught to them. So it's not like they could speak freely in ASL :)
