at least in this alpha gaiden, the weapon can be upgraded all together, which i personally wud nt up this crap in other version as his most powerful attack can only shoot once, made it unworthy to upgrade.

@infringementMAN I don't think that's right, it's spelled 'Cybuster' in the official art books and the localized versions of SRW OG and OG2 have 'Cybuster' as well, and they consulted Banpresto on the name... I think 'Cybaster' is just a mis-romanized version that's used some places.

When Masaki says 秘剣 is he saying hiken or kiken? 秘 is the first character in Himitsu and as far as I can tell is never pronounced 'ki' but Aeon Genesis translated it as the "Deadly Discutter..." so I thought it might have been a pun on 危険 (kiken) meaning danger.

i think you get it a bit later in the game automatically.

it's not that the robot is more melee prone but rather that the pilot may excell at one type of combat than the other. As for Masaki he has always been more of a melee based character

Yeah in SRW3 it was my best unit. Being in between my reals and my supers. Valsione was also very useful too

Very awesome video. I do have a few questions, though... the translation guide I'm using doesn't detail the scene where Masaki talks about Prana and (I think) goes full possession, nor does it say what Shu talks about when defeated by Masaki. Anybody know about those two events?

Hell I remember using the Cybuster in Old SRW3 (SNES version). Good unit but its not as effective as the Nu Gundam because High Familiar's range is only on par with the Quebely MK II. Also He don't got Hotblood....
