  • I'm so happy to see that people are still watching this movie, like me. ;)

  • I hope Hyun Soo goes to college. I believe he might! :D

  • Korean schools used to be really strict to the students during the war between south kore and north korea. But now korean schools are nothing like that. :)

  • @RepChelsea

hey..in movie, background is 1970s south korea ..now is 2011..do you understand??

    and korean war is 1950~1953.

1970s is south korea military Dictator period...

1980s ~ now .....is republic of korea(south korea = developed country..1 per gdp 31000 dollar)...but still north korea is Dictator period(very poor country ...1 per gdp 400dollar

  • @djaxodhks really?? woah, didnt know that. but yeah all i know is that schools were really strict back then and my grandparents tell me that it was a really bad time during their childhood.. thanks for the info though.

  • what is the name of the ending song??? please!!! give me the title!!! :'(

  • what happened to woo sik? -.-"

  • The ending was rushed and I think Eu Jun shouldn't have been with woo sik

  • This movie proves that women back then and today are ignorant, stupid, ass hole chasing hookers. They chase shit and always end up in shit. That's the way it's always gonna be. Good movie btw :)

  • @DivShadow

ㅡㅡ;; this movie background is 1970s....now is 2011...now is not like this..do you understand??

  • @djaxodhks Talking about women today, not life and schools or anything like that. Just the attitudes of women. Yes it has remained the same.

  • @DivShadow

    Hey..friend..

Today, woman power is really great in korea(south).....probably korean next president will woman..

korea(south) is already one of developed countries..1 per gdp = 31000dollar

  • @djaxodhks Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to offend you or anyone in Korea. My comment was mainly for American women :P anyone in America would know what I mean, our girls are loose, trashy, always chase the wrong types of men, and most of our population is getting a little uneducated. I lived in South Korea for about two years as a child and loved it.

  • Muy gosh Eu Jun was SOOOO STUPID!! What a loser and im glad he didnt end up with her its her loss!! He will get a WAY better chick.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrSlla222 Yes he will.

  • why korean movies like to hurt each other ? hahahaha

  • I was waiting to hear that he would ask the girl..." how was it running away with that bastard?". Girls are really weak in love.tsk3

  • ...ive watch korean movies and d school scene r d same..... does korea schools really like dis?! beat students for their mistakes.... whaaaa if schools r like dis better not study :(( tnx for uploading :))

  • @airahBadGirl

i m not sure about korean schools, but the school that i was studying was almost (partly)like da scene long time ago

    :)

  • @airahBadGirl Korea has one of the most 'smartest/test scores/grades' in the world because of how it was back then. Yes, today it's nothing like the past, it was only like this in the 70's,80's and the mid 90's, as in there were school systems like this in the Boy Schools, fights, gangsters, and many other things similar like this movie. There's only maybe little wips to the legs with a stick or hit to the hands, or they make you hit the track.

  • @airahBadGirl

Remember that this movie was set in a High School in Korea in 1978, but was filmed in 2004.

Formerly, school was like this in Korea, and also in other countries in Asia. But nowadays, schools there are almost the same in other countries, but stricter.

  • @airahBadGirl You type like a fucking retard.

  • @airahBadGirl

    Hey..Look At Me...

    This background is 1970s....

    now is 2011...

  • @airahBadGirl it used to be worse sometimes but that was reaaalllyyy bad cases but srsly most schools are cool

  • @airahBadGirl this is the olden times and that is basically military school

  • @airahBadGirl yeah, back then during the 1970s, hitting students was part of discipline and punishment. it was very common. today, they dont do that anymore, they find it "wrong" i guess. however, families still today hit their sons/daughters for punishment/discipline. do not be mistake it for child abuse, although it can be viewed as one. I myself am a korean and when i was a kid, i was often hit for punishment and discipline. not anymore though now.

  • @airahBadGirl asian schools were like that in general back in the day, they use violence as disciplinary actions for students who don't do well in school

  • best movie

  • can someone tell wat the song is at 4:01

  • okay, for those who missed the point of morality of the movie ending:

    - Good guy doesnt get the girl

    - The good guy moves on forward

    - "Jackie chan is better than Bruce Lee, Bruce Lee is history!" (movie quote)

the point is, you must keep going forward instead of always looking back...

"Jeet Kune Do doesnt teach you too look back, but to go forward once the path is set"

hope you guys got it like i did!

  • good movie fighting scene was magic i laughed so hard i cried lol

  • Hella good movie, i cant believe the girl actually ran away with the jerk guy. Eww, well Hyun soo deserved better. im glad he got over her by the end of the movie.

  • damn hella good movie

  • 울고싶어 ㅠㅠ

  • @ThavaselvanThat was great movie.

  • just wanna say that this movie is so realistic (;

  • this was really good.. i couldnt appreciate this movie when i watched it with my brother yeeeeears back

  • I dont know why I love this movie.

  • i think this the first korean movie ive seen were the main character didnt get the chick, although it was his fault... as the saying goes 'nice guys finish last' ,not saying there's anything wrong with being nice, just that if you want something, you have to swallow yur fears and go after it before its too late. by the time he tried, it was too late, she already fell for the 'bad boy'

  • good movie... didnt like the chick!!! all thru the parts i was really trying to give her the benefit of doubt, maybe she really didnt run off, but my hopes were crushed...

  • That girl was a heartless bitch. Instead of telling him "I don't feel the same way" she lead him on, and broke his heart. He's such a nice guy he wasn't even a jerk to her when he saw her. If I was him I would have said Hey, and walked away leaving her to wonder what I was thinking.

  • GUYS TAKE MY ADVISE DONT EVER BE LIKE THAT GUY, YOU WILL SUFFER A LOTTTT IN THIS IRREGULAR WORLD, AND GIRLS I DONT HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING TO YOU, YOU ARE JUST PART OF THIS WORLD AND COULD NOT FIGURE OUT EVER SINCE I CAME INTO LIFE, I AM ONLY 19 BUT I HAVE LIVED THOSE DAYS WHEN YOU WANT TO FIGURE OUT WHATS YOUR DESTINY AND WHAT YOU LIVE FOR, MOST OF ALL FAMILY AND MY GUITAR WAS ON MY SIDE AGAINST THIS CRAZY REVOLVING WORLD...

  • @N2cosxsinx The more you suffer the more you will learn. All of us have a journey, our journey will be bumpy like his, but with every bump you go across; you will learn from it and that what makes you stronger. Also our destiny is not just waiting for it to come for you, but our destiny is to go out there and make our dreams happen. I am only 17 and a half and I went through a lot. Learn from your mistakes, but if we do it the second time; that is an option! :D I just want to share this....

  • THE OLD DIARY SOMETIMES COMES HANDY, WHEN ALONE AND THIS MOVIE WAS PART OF IT, THANK YOU AGAIN FOR BRINGING MY MEMORIES....

  • It would be better if the movie ended up being a love story with strong passion of loyalty, friendship, and courage. A little accidental meetings with Eun Jung or tear scene can be great too. :D

  • She still liked him, he still liked her. They wanted to say something, but nothing happened. Seems realistic :D

  • whats GED school and what it stands for? and i love this movie thanks for uploading

  • First Love, First Love, First Love... it's just passing thing for most of us. I think it is a great ending.

  • Ending sucked wtf is this :D

  • @SuperExpressway thanks man..i will watch it.

  • @SuperExpressway Isn't TOP the hero of the movie...and sang woo is like the villian?

  • This was seriously the best goddamn movie I've ever seen.

I've had continuous goosebumps since he started finding "something to do" again.

thank you times a million for posting this.

    I am in love. A++++

  • So wait... did the girl leave with Woo sik in the end? and then have to reatke coz she left for so long? :/

    And whats a GED?

Interesting film... it wasnt what i expected!

  • Good movie but... it does seem like something is missing... they should have shown what happens to the guy who ran away or something else ???

  • Good ending.

  • Whats the ending song called?

  • between this movie and gangster high i like gangster high most... this movie is okay but gangster high more batter...

  • between this movie and gangster high i like gangster high most... this movie just ok..

  • Then when Jackie Chan hit the screens, it showed that times change and that nothing will stay the same for ever, which could also tie into saying that the school system was going to change soon. Sorry about not putting this and my previous comment together, but I ran out of characters to write.

  • I saw this movie in July and I've been trying to figure out what the ending meant but I think I finally figured it out. When Eun-ju and Hyun-soo reunite on the bus, it's like a reverse of what happened in the beginning when he met her, and instead of him thinking that she was too good for him and he had to get off the bus first, she got off the bus first and they both knew that she wasn't worthy of his love since she ran off with his friend after they were bonding with each other.

  • That girl makes me feel suicidal..

  • kinda random but anyone know the closing song or who it's by?

  • I didn't like the ending. It was left unsaid. So many unanswered questions!

What happened to hyun-soo's Friend? Him and the girl shouldve been together at end i think to at least give some asnwers to the movie.

  • @kvnyng yeah i see your point, i loved the movie but i didn't like that they took Woo Sik out of the picture towards the end since he was a big part of the movie and Hyun So's friend.

  • @soragirl6 ive been pissed thruout the whole second half of the movie....plus i wanted more action. also for some reason this movie reminds me of conduct zero.

  • thats nice no more ass spanking and costodian costumes

  • Its true about the Korean educational system was that Bullshit !!! Hyun-soo rules!!!

  • heyyyyyyyyyy

  • i can't believe i wasted 2hours of my time watching this movie....worst of the korean movies that i have seen so far....there is no ending at all

  • @twtyalice Lol. This movie is good i guess you don't like fighting. I dont care about endings im not picky.

  • What a great movie, thanks for uploading these

  • Why the hell he talked to her?! She's just a bitch!

  • love this movie

i feeel like getting extremely fit like him now

  • i think the end is like her in his shoes before... so i think its trying to say that mabey it went on like before but from her point of view and mabey they got back together? or the bruce lee to jackie chan because bruce lee had died at the time and jackie chan took his place in star position for the golden gate film indistry in china, wich is talking about change and that its not always a bad thing to move on i think... ones of thoes 2 things im guessing but either way it was an ok movie.

  • awts!!! i want them to be partners,.

    why don't they try again!!!

    waaah,.

    but i like it,.

  • OMG THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME!!!!! I feel so lucky to have found this. I have to tell my friends about this asap.

  • mmmm

this movie is okay, but what's with the ending?

    seems like something left unexplained..

  • some movies are like that. gives that sense of unknown

kinda like you imagine what the ending would be ..

or maybe a sequel . u never know

  • @cubul16 what do you mean? that was a perfect ending.... lol jackie chan is now in the buisiness

  • @cubul16 That's how all Korean Movies end..I've learned to deal haha

  • @cubul16

    @cubul16

Actually if you rewatch movie again, there is this quote in the beginning:

"Jeet Kune Do doesn't teach you to look back, but to go forward once the path is set"

~From Bruce Lee's 'Way of Jeet Kune Do'

I think that's the message the creator is trying to explain.
