Jeanne Martin had said herself in an interview about Dean years ago (I can't remember for what show) that even after the divorce, they still loved each other very much. Dean would have supper at Jeanne's house every Sunday...like clockwork, and he never missed a Sunday...untill his death that sad Christmas morning.

Yes, but also, I wondered if he had had a 'thing' going with this Catherine character, and she found out??!! (But, you would think, if that were the case, well, one 'fall from grace', could have been forgiven, after 24 years of marrriage (or NO....not ever...?? - I don't know much about those things - like, whether or not it is posssible for a husband or wife to do so??) but, I agree.....he loved her till his death, and she him - although their demise left a hole in the hearts of many people!!

It's when I see he and Jeannie together in these kind of scenes, I am so bewildered.....what caused their demise, for a couple that appeared to be so in love? Then follows a heap of other questions....too numerous to put down here!! Anyhow, it seems to be a lovely family!!!

I really think that he always loved her, even after their divorce, only their schedules were too different. Dean was up early when Jeanne would sleep late. Jeanne wanted to party, Dean wanted to sleep and watch westerns. I think he always loved her. :-)

I want a husband like that! Tender, talented, freakin' handsome... Hotus Maximus. I imagine how my perfect life with Dino would be. In the afternoons he would teach me how to play golf (I've read that Dean absolutely LOVED playing golf), and in the evening he could sing to me. He's like the perfect package. BTW, I'm 17, and I just recently started to really listen to his music and read about him, so if I sound a little starstruck, please excuse me. After all, who wouldn't be?

You remind me of me at about your age. I met Dino in 1956 and fell instantly in love. And have remained so for all these years.

All my kids grew up with his music and on Christmas in memory of his passing, we always play his Christmas album, and on his birthday we always play That's Amore!! I am so glad young people are discovering Dean. Everyday I read on Youtube that another young person has discovered him. Spread the word to all your friends.

Today you always hear about stars and their fitness, crash diets, working-out and personal trainers. Did Dean have all this? He was in perfect physical condition and looked damn good most of his life despite being a smoker. I had a sandwhich and a cigar yesterday--I look like Orson Wells.

Dean was always naturally thin I guess. His biggest workout daily was to walk an 18 hole golf course, no caddy cart for him!! Also he was a boxer as a young man and had great muscles, even when he got older. Maybe he worked out in a gym, but he himself said that he swam regularly and had a personal workout room at home. Not counting his pool table! LOL

My grandparent lost a sons 8 year ago, he was just 36 and my grandfather still is an broken man, he tries to hide his pain but you can see it, now another son of them is sick and we dont know how long he will be with us, losing a child is the worst thing what can happen to a parent and it destroys them
