Frankie Knuckles, the God Father of House moved from NYC to Chicago and went underground, he brought disco to use in a different form called house music. Because of his artistic ways, house music has reached all across the board. New Jersey was second in line yet they are not recognized.

both of these mixes are pristine. the regisford mix is, i think more in the spirit of house music. the vocals are supported lushly, not lavishly as they are in this mix. that being said, ultimately the two are incomparable as they both serve different purposes, i think, on the dancefloor. if i had to choose regisford would get the grammy though. but i am a die-hard fan of spinna.
