Wow.. I hadn't seen this one yet. Have you thought about making this into one documentary. You could easily enter this in film festivals if you ever wanted to.
Great video Josh. The beginning reminds me of the MASH episode..."Frank Burns eats worms" :). Can you give us some background on what you were teaching, why you went there etc.? Those Koreans didn't seem to notice Bridget until Josh pointed her out....they really liked Josh though! hmmmmmmmmm lol.
That could be because Bridget was thousands of miles away in the states and nowhere to be seen. The classroom was originally Bridget's. I took it over when she returned home and we were teaching the students how to speak and write English. As far as why we were there, we chose to be, it's a simple as that. We felt called to go and explore and share our humanity. Our series should provide insight into what we experienced while traveling.
I thought she was running the camera...duh! After watching it again, I get it now. It's pretty amazing that you would decide to just pick up and go live somewhere so different from home. I'm looking forward seeing more of your experience.
I love these, Josh! I honestly watch them over and over, as I mentioned on the trailer Bridget posted today. Great video "footage". (We still talk in film terms, don't we? Even in the digital age.) Such great stuff!
Yes, very interesting but there are so many questions. Where was the classroom? Were the Koreans in Singapore? and what was manifesting in you two ... food poisoning? No question about the cheap ... er, frugal presumably windowless guest house room ... they're all over SEA. I don't miss them at all. aloha :)

watching the previous video, I was wishing that you guys would have filmed what you did for work. i love that you put that in this video.
i loved the end. the broken wall hanger and then part of the fan falling on you. it couldn't have been scripted better.

This is a splicing of footage from throughout the journey. When the chronological editing gets to Saigon you will see more teaching and stuff.
Yeah the fan falling is a fav moment for me too!

I don't know whether the Koreans were in in Singapore, that's a good question...
Yes, well food poisoning of a sort, from time to time, sure.
