  • I won't lie, I teared up near the end, seeing 10th regenerate. I love Matt Smith, don't get me wrong, but David Tennant was my first Doctor and it was heartbreaking to see him go.

  • Amy's Theme always gets me teary eyed.

  • Major, major goosebumps. What an incredible tribute to the Doctor -- every actor, every form. Long live the Doctor!

  • He should have given ellis the explody-wodey thing.

  • Amy's Theme always makes me cry :'(

  • Bless the man with the voice of an Angel

  • @hatesmosh he really has the voice of an angel....that song used in combination with the tenth doctors final scenes always makes me weep like a baby!

  • Look people. A few things. 1st: Karen is doing her best. It is much harder to do live acting than screen acting. On screen, you do it again and again and again until they have what they want. On stage you get one chance. 2nd: I highly doubt that Rory OR Amy will be on Doctor Who next season. As the Doctor said, he was getting too big which is why they did the whole "death of the Doctor" thing. Finally, shorten The Doctor to Dr. NEVER.

  • @kimmorin141 i agree she did an awesome job plus the amount of people in that hall would have made me super nervous! I'm kinda looking forward to The Doctor traveling with someone new. plus he gave Rory and Amy a great gift with the house and the car.

  • @kimmorin141

Amy will appear in some episodes of series 7, which has been confirmed by Karen herself at the 2011 ComicCon. Nevertheless there will be a new companion.

  • See where is the 8th to 9th regeneration? I heard rumors that the guy that played the 8th doctor died : ( so they couldn't show the bits when he regenerated I also heard that he would of regenerated because he got shot by a dalek is all this true?

  • @Nazza246 The eighth doctor was played by Paul McGann, who seems to be just fine :) The original reason for his regeneration to Nine not being shown was the audience's comfort - new viewers wouldn't have known what it means. No idea why they still haven't included it, though. Getting shot by a Dalek is plausible, at least if it happened during the Time War.

  • Alot of you dishing on Karen must not understand how difficult it is to get up on stage like that, especially if you're a screen actor. How about you get up in front of all of those fans, and everyone on the Internet and try not using a script?

  • @arosereese I agree....look at the amount of people packed into that hall and i bet you the ones saying she's bad would be just as nervous. i think she did a great job P:

  • the music is just so divine, rich and amazing. You will never become bored of it - simply phenomenal

  • arthur is so much better then karen in dr who. wish it was just him and the dr in the next sereies that b so funny :)

  • I'm sorry but Arthur is so much fucking better a host than Karen. Brilliant actress but Arthur seems to be using the script as a reference rather than the fucking Bible.

  • Ellis has got to have a role in Dr Who sometime int he future. Maybe as the "Finally" Ginger Doctor?

  • God, the fans clearly loved David the best by their reactions :)

  • @j0sheed00d Hard to tell - this isn't really a good 'litmus test' because most of the people in the audience are newer fans who are there chiefly because of Matt Smith and David Tennant. They probably don't even know who those other blokes are! To be fair you'd have to show everyone in the audience all 50 yrs. of DW (plus audio books and novels), and THEN do the applause test. The results might be different!

  • love the guy singing luv his voice!!!!

  • ummm wow that guys singing is amazing! i had always thought it was woman singing but .....damn!

  • @amirizar2012 same! lol i was kind of *speechless*

  • @snake1million its one of my favorite songs from the Series 4 specials soundtrack. hearing the songs live would be so awesome P:

  • cooouuuunnntttteeeeerrr teeennnooooorrrr. So much respect for them because that is hard.

  • I got really emotional when the first doctor appeared and on. Gosh, so beautiful. And when nine appeared... Oh the memories!

  • Yes we all know Arthur is Smoking :D

to me Amy's theme 2:07 sounds like shes saying looow loow dodo loooooow

  • This entire time i thought that was a girl singing... weird.

  • I like how chilled out Rory sounds in real life haha

  • If there will be a proms in 2012 THERE MUST BE THIS IS GALLIFREY!!! and vale decem

  • ah patrick troughton my favorite doctor

  • I love Amy's theme. It's so sad, yet beautiful.

  • OMG ITS THE SONG CALLED THIS IS G A L I F R A Y
  • I love the 'life and death of amy pond' its jut so emotional it has to be one of my favorite pieces of music. ever. :')

  • That guys voice is awesome!

  • What instrument is that at 7:21? It seems to get a lot of features and it's pretty :) Some sort of double reed?

    That guy's voice... wow! :D

    10. XD "Mm, new teeth. That's weird. So, where was I. Barcelona!"

  • @CobbChallengerGirls The instrument is a cor anglais, also called an english horn :) it is a lovely tone

  • @tikkaterrance96 Thanks! I thought the reed looked like an oboe or a bassoon's, but I'd never seen an English Horn before. It's really cool XD

  • I wished the conductor wore a bow tie. Because bow ties are cool. :D

  • Murray Gold is really good

  • Everyones has got his or her favourite Doctor! Like mine is David Tennant, that doesn't mean I don't like Matt Smith as the doctor.

  • Colin Baker I think got the least applause?

  • @445h No, I think that was Sylvester McCoy who got the least. They are both fine actors who got shafted by the BBC, who were trying to kill the show when they were on. Colin Baker's Doctor comes across VERY well in the audio books, where he's allowed to mature and soften. His character was supposed to do that on the show but the BBC fired him before he got a chance to complete his character arc.

  • We can tell what ? Sorry I don't understand ! ^^: I never get tired of watching video !

  • love u tom baker love this music

  • The music fit very well for the moment that John Pertwee's scene came on, he was my favourite doctor before the 2005 revival. I was really young when I watched re-runs from the old series, but I remember the third doctor the most!

  • :D I *love* This is Gallifrey... ^^ such an amazing piece

  • DAVID TENNANT! I miss you.

  • That guy who sings the solo for the Doctor Regeneration song has a got an AWESOME soprano. Blew me away. I'd always thought that was a woman's voice. Fabulous job. Love it David Tennant will always be my Doctor, but Matt Smith is doing a great job too. He's a nice second. Miss you David. T.T

  • I think its kinda sad that the scene with the 3rd doctor regenerating-everyone in that scene has passed away. Just kinda sad. I was bawling through most of this.

  • I love that a bunch of girls screamed when Arthur Darvill came onstage. At least I'd like to think so, cuz that's what I would have done.

  • I always thought it the singer was female O_O

  • I love the moments, when the spectators applaud for the all regenerations of Doctor ! ^^ Sorry my English is not very well !

  • @quiamo we can tell...

  • thought i saw dr.river song in the orchestra at 3:53 at the bottom playing the violin!

  • I love the fangirl scream when Arthur mentions Rory. XD

  • This is lovely, thank you for posting all of these!

  • Hats off to you M.G. a job well done thanx for the hard work.

  • Love the Doctor montage! That Counter-tenor is amazing!

  • Hmm... this rendition of "This is Gallifrey" seemed relatively toned-down. Usually it sounds more ... intense, I suppose. The crescendos are louder and... well, I'm not sure, it just sounds more mild than usual. And by usual I mean the 'official' soundtrack version(s).

Nonetheless, you are my hero for posting these. Bless you. :)

  • @SporkingToast Well sometime you lose the sound depending on the venue you play at as far as space and acoustics are concerned. I've played on many different stages as a musican throught out my life and some pose issues as far as how sound travels when it comes to crescendos and percussion.

  • @sintofg That's true. I hadn't considered the venue as a factor; I assumed the sound was being recorded from somewhere in the immediate vicinity of the source, which would greatly reduce if not eliminate the deterioration of the sound.

  • I bet Ellis got asked out by every eight year old in London.

  • love the applause for David!!

  • @BADGWOLF ;D

  • That's moving, all the regenerations, I love how the audience applauded William Hartnell, Tom Baker & David Tennant!

  • @cmsahe True :')

  • @cmsahe It is very moving, goosebumps all over. i totally agree with you!!!

  • @cmsahe also that the music went really well with the regenarations especially with the tenth genaration.
